We came to Yinchuan to visit Helan Rock painting mountain an Xixia tomb so we didn't see downtown that much. The hotel is in the center of the district, near the drum tower, surrounded by stores and restaurants, easily to find everything you need. The staff of the hotel didn't speak English but they're polite and kind. On the day we checked out there's a misunderstanding: they said we had to pay them while we had already prepaid via TRIP.com. We showed them the receipt in Chinese but they couldn't find it in their system. After 15 mins they let us go. We confusedly contacted TRIP customer service and were informed clearly there's no problem at all with our payment. TRIP dealt with the hotel themselves. I wouldn't complain the hotel about this since such thing could happen but I suggest you to always keep the receipt in Chinese and contact TRIP customer service suddenly and let them deal with the hotel, especially if your train is about to leave the station :)

Hotel is new and luxurious, great location very central and dynamic neighbourhood yet bedroom is calm and I got good nights sleep.
Special mention for the staff that is super friendly and warm! Nice people!

If you haven't aired out the smell yet, don't open the place! If the renovations aren't complete yet, don't rush to make money! Are you using customers as air conditioners? The stay experience was abysmal. As soon as I entered the room, I was overwhelmed by the pungent smell of the decorating. It not only stung my eyes and nose, but it also made it difficult to breathe.
Most ridiculously, the family room only provided two toothbrushes, and the door didn't lock, which made me worried about the room's safety. Most unacceptable, when I contacted the hotel front desk about any issues, they simply told me to resolve them through the platform. They showed absolutely no willingness to address the issues. This level of service is truly disappointing! I strongly recommend against choosing this hotel.
