Shankou Hotspring Hotel

This time I came back from Kinmen to celebrate the New Year in Taiwan. After getting off the plane, I drove my children to the Yamaguchi Hot Spring Hotel, which I had booked a month ago. This was their first time to soak in a hot spring. We stayed in a cabin room type. We first went to the main hotel counter to check in. The male staff at the counter served us. He had a good attitude and answered every question in detail. When we arrived at the cabin, we opened the door and there was a nice smell of wood. After a break, we took our children to the public pool on the fifth floor of the hotel to soak in the hot springs. It was very windy that day, but the hot springs were so warm that the children were so happy. Fortunately, we were the only family of four that day so it didn't affect other people and the children could enjoy bathing in other rooms. The toilet in the other room occasionally had a bad smell, but there was no smell when the door was opened. In the morning, I was woken up by the sound of running and jumping on the roof. I thought it was a squirrel and my husband thought it was a bird, but it turned out to be a monkey. This time I stayed in this hotel for the price of NT$2,000 and breakfast. I thought it was pretty good. Next time I come back and want to take a hot spring bath, I will definitely choose this hotel.

The fact that you can take a bath in the room is already unbeatable. There is an open-air hot spring outside the room (although it is only hot water), but it is great! (There are street lights in the room, which also adds a special touch)

It's very clean and has a Japanese style. The price is not high. The bathtub is very comfortable. The breakfast is from a breakfast shop that is not bad. It's just a distance from the station. Overall, I think the CP value is high.

The 4-person room has 2 single beds. The room is old and has a strange smell. The toilet has a strange smell. The room lights are not bright and dark. The air-conditioning in the room is not cold at all. You will sweat when you sleep until midnight. The sound insulation is very poor and the noise from cars coming and going is unbearable. Maybe at this price, you won’t want to live there again if you don’t ask for it! !

The hot spring hotel is a B&B type hotel with an open-air hot spring location. Although the room is relatively old, it has a bathtub🛁 that directly introduces the hot spring♨️ water, which makes it feel so comfortable😌!
