I loved this inn and the warm welcome I received from the owner and his family. The inn is a historic Huizhou style house with a quiet courtyard; Bishan is a great village with a mix of traditional livelihoods and new cultural activity - I really want to come again in the warmer weather. Transport is spotty but the owners can help arrange cars as needed.
Note to foreign friends: No English is spoken but the hosts are very welcoming and you could get along just fine with a translation app. Come visit and experience the real Anhui!

The bed was very comfortable and the quilt smelled like sunshine. The room is cool, the bath water is hot and warm, and the light is well blocked in the morning. I can eat with the host. The dinner only costs 20 yuan, which is delicious and cheap. The next night I tried Kunlun Youth Hostel. I regretted it after checking in. The service attitude and conditions were far worse than here.
