We loved our stay at the Wangshan Panshui! Communication in English at the moment of booking was very efficient. The hotel arranged a driver to pick us up at the train station and to drive us to Hongcun on our last day. The room we booked was really quiet and cozy. It was cold the night we arrived (understandable because we were the only guests at the hotel) but it got much more comfortable on the second day with the radiator heating on. The 2 owners are always available to help and meals (breakfast was included) are served in a restaurant nearby. All our meals were plentiful and packed with flavors. We didn't get to use the common spaces at the hotel because it was quite cold but we did spend some time in the gorgeous garden! We fully recommend!

The first room we booked felt like it had a musty smell, so the boss asked us to change it to a room on the second floor (the boss told us in advance that the roof opposite was being renovated, so it might be noisy in the morning), and sure enough, we were woken up around 6-7am, and The sound of a car horn.
The boss's service is very good and he responds to all requests. Local sesame cakes were also given as a gift when checking out.
