The room is very nice. I took the elderly out to play and they all praised it.
The service is super nice. The hotel provides a lobby on the first floor for guests to rest. It also prepares tea, fruit and baked sweet potatoes.
The food is also delicious, but it is a bit salty for people like me who like light taste. If you have the same preference, you can remind the hotel to make the dishes lighter.
The housekeeper asked me if I had any opinions, and I replied that I couldn't think of them for the time being. The only 0.5 points deducted is that the surrounding area is being renovated, and it may be a little dusty when you return to the hotel.
That's right! There are two fat cats and a parrot in the hotel. It feels quite novel.
In short, I think you will definitely not be disappointed if you stay here

- The B&B is located in the central area of the scenic area. Outside the window are blue bricks and black tiles. It is as beautiful as a fairyland in the morning!
- Convenient transportation. The lady came to the entrance of the scenic area and drove a tour bus to pick us up.

A very satisfying stay! The room is large, with simple decoration style, complete facilities, and a clean and tidy environment. I chose the second floor to see the distant scenery, which is great! The surrounding area is quiet and not far from various attractions.
The boss is very considerate and helped arrange carpooling, pick us up at the entrance of the scenic spot, and also provided a tour route. I will stay here again next time I come to play~

Each room also has observation windows, and some rooms have independent courtyards. Sitting and enjoying the scenery and drinking tea are also very happy. The space is quite spacious, and it is very suitable for families or friends to stay together! The public area is equipped with charging stations, restaurants, tea rooms, meeting rooms, and gyms, which are very suitable for group building gatherings. When traveling to Anhui, I prepared a guide in advance and finally chose this hotel. The hotel environment is good, clean and sanitary. The breakfast is also very rich. It only takes five minutes to walk to Hongcun attractions. It is very convenient. The hotel location is particularly easy to find.

I have my own kitchen and it’s convenient to eat: I ate the authentic Anhui specialties such as stinky fish, dried bamboo shoots and roasted pork, and stir-fried bracken. It tasted delicious~

The boss is nice and the service is warm and thoughtful. When we arrived at Hongcun, the boss picked us up at the tourist center and sent us back after we finished playing. This hotel is a combination of Hui-style architecture and modern life. The bedding is comfortable, the space is large, and there is free breakfast in the backyard. It has a sense of design. Location: This guesthouse is a 5 minute drive from the main Hongcun Village entrance and the owners kindly drove us there! Although this hotel isn’t inside the village itself, it’s still convenient and in a quiet location!
It’s a 1 hour drive from the Huangshan North Railway station and 1 hour drive to the Huangshan Tangkou Transfer Center.
Food: There’s a restaurant on-site which has an extensive dinner menu. Honestly, you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner without leaving the premises! Very convenient and the food is good quality- highly recommend.
Amenities: The guesthouse is newly renovated and has top notch furnishings. Everything is clean and comfortable. The floor heating was nice to have in December!

Unlike most hotels within the village, this hotel has conserved the architecture of the exterior and interior of the over 300 years old structure. It is well maintained with modern amenities and a nice manicured garden filled with bonsai plants. The Chinese breakfast was simple and nice. The menu has a good range of beverages and the food was good at reasonable prices.
The room we stayed was small but cozy. It is within the main building and just outside the room there is a reading lounge. It was quiet and hardly used while we were there.

GGuest UserMy family and I (5 of us) recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming homestay in Hongcun for two days and one night, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The building, steeped in history at 400 years old, is located relatively close to the West entrance, making access a breeze. The rooms were beautifully decorated, clean, and well-kept. Although I initially booked three specific rooms, they were unavailable due to renovation. However, I was provided with three other rooms that turned out to be more spacious, which was a delightful surprise.
The lobby felt incredibly welcoming, with a cozy living-room-style atmosphere. There’s a lovely café to the left and a souvenir shop to the right, adding a nice touch of convenience and charm as you walk toward the living area. Wan Jie (elder sister Wan), the host, was truly hospitable and attentive. Her warmth shone through from our first phone call, which she answered cheerfully while helping arrange our pickup, as cars aren’t allowed into Hongcun, a UNESCO Heritage Site.
One of the highlights of this homestay was the restaurant nestled in a ”secret” garden—a serene and picturesque spot where my family and I could have happily spent more time. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, adding to the overall experience. Though it was too cool to use during my visit, the homestay also features a pool that would be perfect for summer days.
At the end of our stay, Wan Jie went above and beyond by accompanying us to the village exit to wait for our driver, ensuring everything went smoothly before saying her goodbyes. It’s rare to experience such personalized hospitality, and it made a memorable impression on us.
Based on my positive experience, I would highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Hongcun. It’s a unique blend of history, comfort, and genuine hospitality that truly enhances the visit.

DDavidPGPerfect location, very friendly and helpful staff. The entrance to the hotel is a cute, beautiful courtyard, everything is close by. Communication was easy via WeChat, they came to pick us up and carried out heavy luggage all the way to the parking lot, and helped us do laundry in the hotel. The only comments are that the room got some noise from the street, which was very busy at all times, and it wasn’t very well ventilated. They replaced our towels and toiletries but they didn’t make the bed or clean up the room.
In any case this is a great choice for spending a couple of nights right in the middle of Hongcun!

EEstelle_MiiIt's a short distance from the main street, and it's relatively quiet. I took my children and stayed there for two nights on the way back. The room has heating, and it's very comfortable to live in. It's more convenient to live in Hongcun by car, and you can go to several surrounding villages quickly. The ancient buildings in Xidilu Village are better preserved, and there are fewer people.

Banyan Tree Huangshan, which I had been thinking about for a long time, is indeed a first-class location, and the view of Lu Village is great. The details of the service and the quality of breakfast still have room for improvement, after all, it is a luxury hotel at this price.
There is a very well-behaved, cute and docile Xiaobai in the park, but one of its eyes seems to be a little inflamed. Can your hotel help Xiaobai treat it?

GGuest UserThe Pig’s Inn is a very cozy place that makes you feel like home. Bishan village is far away from the city so I asked the hotel for help with taxi arrangement. Manager Fang Xin (方鑫) gave me the contact to the driver who was always on time and gave me lots of tips about hiking up mount Huang. The room in the hotel was really clean and warm regardless of the very cold weather outside. The hotel staff is super nice, they waited for us with dinner till really late. As my family is really picky when it comes to food Pig’s Inn was a perfect place to eat dinner and breakfast as they made all the dishes according to the needs of my family. In the evening there was a huge spider in our room (came there suddenly), the nice woman form the hotel helped us to remove it from the room. Everything was perfect and our trip was really nice thanks to the Pig’s Inn ☺️

NNatascha B.Very nice hotel, perfectly located opposite of the Hongcun Scenic area. The staff was very welcoming and set up a Wechat group for infos and questions. Our room was very clean and cosy. The hotel has a free afternoon-tea from 2-5pm and you have to make a reservation in advance because the time seats are limited. It is located in a cost tea house. The tea and snacks served were nice and delicious. The outdoor pool was refreshing and clean, with a nice view. To Hongcun you can just take a 5 minute walk and leave the car at the hotel. There is also a Covid-Testing station directly next to the entrance of the Scenic area. For breakfast they had a big selection of local food, we really liked it. The only negative point we have to say that the tea in the morning tasted not good, they didn’t use filtered water, so it had a moldy old taste. All in all I can really recommend the hotel and would book it again. The location and the staff was really great!
