My first time here with my husband. We got married here on Friday 18th October 2024 and it was the most amazing special time away here. The staff went above and beyond in helping us from start to finish. Orla our wedding planner was absolutely amazing!! Couldn’t thank you enough for the support we had, you made our day so special. Micheal is amazing and looked after us all holiday, so well thank you for the great support you gave us. The staff are all wonderful and look after you amazingly. The food is absolutely perfect, rooms well maintained and our cleaner Cathina was so lovely and looked after me as a bride to be on the day, thank you love Jade & Paul, we will see you next year The only down side to our experience was the indoor pool area, the Jaccuzi was full of a lot of children jumping in, splashing and throwing the ball around and other items. We had to get out all of the time, but the lifeguard in there was amazing and tried his best to help us have a relaxing time. Thank you Louis Phaethon Becah you have been amazing!! We will see you again next year and we hope to be in room 2117

Booked rather last minute to recuperate from a rather bad year. We were given a lovely room with an excellent view and walk-in shower, twin beds, tea, and coffee fridge with water every day. Cleaned well by friendly cleaners. Pools weren't too cold, and we managed a few dips. Friendly life guards around every pool. There are plenty of sunbeds and no getting up at 6am! Day time entertainment is plentiful, and we met lots of lovely guests and animation staff. Outside bar/snack bar open and plenty of choice including Chinese restaurant, again friendly, helpful staff. Walked down to the beach and swam in the sea, which was warmish. Restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late snacks. There is plenty of choice every evening with a different theme. Fresh bread was beautiful with butter or oil! Loads of pudding choices! The restaurant is spotless as every member of staff works 100% and are friendly. Terrace has live music a few nights a week with staff service and the bar is a comfortable place to spend the evening. The staff in these areas are fantastic, ensuring your glass is never empty and welcoming and friendly. One lager, plenty of spirits and a cocktail menu with special cocktails handed out daily. The coffee bar is no longer operational as a bar, but seating areas are clean and is quieter than the bar area. Reception friendly and helpful. That is the basics of this hotel, but it is so much more. I am guilty of being a repeater for many years and this place is so special to my family and myself. The staff are amazing , friendly, caring and some have been there for 20+ years, that says a lot. Too many to mention by name, but the staff have looked after us, treated us like friends and family and have made me laugh so much , I have still got aching muscles. And I thank them all x Management. What a great leadership team these guys are. Always have time to stop and talk, assist, advise and care.( George is a great addition). Guests. I have made so many friends thanks to this hotel and this visit has been no different. Like minded people with like minded attitudes that we have laughed so much. This hotel isn't about the food, the drink, the rooms, the staff, the customers. It is about it ALL making it a great package.

From our after midnight arrival to our late at night departure this hotel once again gave us first class treatment by every member of staff. Our room 3020 was kept spotless by a Cypriot lady who always gave us a cheery ‘kalimera’ This room was on the top floor and overlooked the beautiful blue & white church, the sea & had the most amazing sunset view. The food in the main restaurant once again had so much choice & a special shout out to Stella, Hanny, Karim & Ahmed for giving us that extra special treatment! The chefs too are a credit to this hotel as are all the staff who continuously clear plates, cups etc and always done with a smile. Lovely to see management on the doors welcoming you in. The patio & inside bar serves fabulous cocktails, cold bottles of Keo beer & lovely sparkling white wine. Aziz & Jenny kept our glasses topped up & always had time for a chat. The entertainment team work tirelessly throughout the day & night. My husband was a big fan of the boules & shuffleboard activities. The whole team worked fab together to give guests a first class activities programme. The pools & surrounding areas were kept clean & saw the water being tested regularly. All the life guards were good fun & gave advice as to how best tackle the blue slide!! The pool bar & restaurant had super choices of food & drink at lunchtime. We especially enjoyed the Chinese restaurant. Again all staff were so cheery & friendly. My last shout out goes to Sofia who cleans the toilets by the pool. She’s a wee gem who smiles continuously. Thanks again Phaethon. See you again on 2025.

On the 23.08.24, after 7 years of engagement, 10 years together and me battling grade 3 breast cancer the last 12 months, we got married at this wonderful hotel We booked our wedding Aug 23, 2 weeks later I was told I had breast cancer. There were times we didn’t know we’d make it and the date was at risk of being postponed. BUT, we made it and this day has kept us all going the last year so we all needed it to be perfect and that’s exactly what it was PERFECT We had 31 guests join us, every single one of them had the most amazing time, everyone at the hotel is just wonderful. From the minute of us arriving, Michael and Louise looked after us in ways I never expected to be looked after on holiday Rudi everyday, always with a smile, always greeting us and our families. Honestly, despite how tough the last 12 months have been, you all made sure we had the time of our lives. We will never forget this day, it means the world to us as a family and I’m forever grateful to the entire hotel team and Louise at TUI for making our wedding day and holiday the most amazing experience! The AI food was the best we’ve ever had, the food at our wedding was OUTSTANDING, our guests comparing to Michelin restaurant quality, wow blown away! What an incredible menu, Gala menu 1 for anyone pondering what to choose, you won’t be disappointed You brought all our dreams to life, it was everything we wanted and more. A magical experience, we will be back for an anniversary As a side note, I didn’t get chance to say goodbye to Rudi, Michael and Louise at TUI, please if anyone sees this and sees them today, please show them this post and tell them how grateful we are for them being part of our wedding and holiday ❤️ Starting life without cancer and now as man & wife finally, all our love Mr & Mrs Daly xxx

We stayed at this hotel as a family of 4 near end of July. I read a lot of positive reviews on this hotel so was really excited. When we arrived, I had good impressions at first. Champagne & cakes / biscuits upon arrival whilst we filled out forms out. I requested a sea view room away from the terrace & ground floor & they fulfilled our request. However it wasn’t really a proper sea view as unfortunately a lot of the palm trees blocked the view. Room was quite small for a family of 4, but we got by with it. Bathroom was ok, but water leaked on the floor every time we showered. We had an early dinner the first night, the restaurant was huge & impressive with modern decor. The food selection was lovely, although I did find it repetitive as the days went on. I found the hot foods were quite oily & a lot fried so if you suffer with food triggers / stomach issues like myself it might get a bit much as it can’t be avoided whilst your there! However the pasta, rice dishes & desserts were probably my favourite. I found the corridors were dated & a little grubby. I appreciate the cleaners work very hard to clean the rooms every day & I think there’s at least 3,000 rooms (we were on second floor in the 2000+ rooms). But in order to keep it well maintained, I think this hotel needs constant maintenance not just in the rooms as this hotel can obviously cater to a very large capacity of people. Therefore some areas get a bit neglected with cleanliness. Sorry that’s just my opinion as I did feel a bit let down on this side, especially when I read the reviews on cleanliness! Nonetheless, the lobby, pool areas, terrace were always clean. I did feel there was always a race against time to get a sun bed in the mornings especially at the main pool! By 8am, most sun beds are taken & there is a LOT of sun beds! The main pool was ok but got a bit crowded, the pool at the back was a bit better but deeper & the splash pool was good for little ones. We went on the aqua slides at the end of holiday, they were fun but I can imagine can get boring after a few times, as my kids lost interest a bit quick. You would need to go to an actual aqua park to get the best out of it. My kids did like the adventure park there & went there a few times & even made a friend! The beach nearby the hotel was very rocky & not really enjoyable especially for my kids. There was another beach 250km away which again was still rocky, but my kids loved playing in the sand. Overall I have mixed reviews, it was a lovely holiday, but I was disappointed in some areas of the holiday, considering I was so expectant of it after reading all of the positive reviews. Sorry if this review is long, I appreciate you reading to the end but just wanted to give my really honest opinion!!

This was our 4th visit since 2016 in which time the hotel has been refurbished. The hotel is extremely clean, light and airy, we were greeted by very friendly staff and offered refreshments immediately on entering the reception area. Signing in was made simple and information regarding the rooms, amenities, dining, pools and services was explained fully and clearly. The food in the main dining room was always of a very good standard and such a large variety that all tastes were catered for. From 10.00 every morning there was a great selection of food and drink from a self-service restaurant by the pools which was open until 6.00pm. Next to this was an Asian buffet restaurant which opened for lunch Monday to Saturday. Both restaurants served very tasty food if you didn't want to leave the pool area and go to the main restaurant. Dress code for dinner in the hotel restaurant is smart casual and shorts are allowed but not swimwear. Excursions and car hire are available from the hotel, there is also a jewellers and a small convenience shop for essentials. Under the hotel there is an entertainments theatre with nightly shows and cabaret. Beside this there is a spa and gym with indoor swimming pool. The main pools have areas with sunbeds and parasols reserved for the less able/mobile guests for easy access to the water. There is always adequate sunbeds around the pools. The hotel also large children's play area with many water features and water slides near the main pool. From the pools you are only a 2 minute walk from the sea with access via steps to the water.

Enjoyed 1 week here just me and hubby, the staff are outstanding, very smiley polite and friendly. Hotel is lovely, very clean, big, but enough space to not feel over crowded. The only downside to us was the alcoholic drinks, local drinks, really weak, not a massive choice, enjoyed what we had but premium would have made this hotel 10/10, husband started drinking our own Smirnoff by day 3, husband is in a manual wheelchair the hotel is very accessible to wheelchair users, the ramps are quite steep he couldn’t get up on his own but either me, staff or hotel residents helped. Electric wheelchair users no problem. Rudi the manager went above and beyond to sort our room out when we got there too as wheelchair wouldn’t fit through bathroom door, the food is outstanding, so tasty, looks delicious, and a lot of variety, restaurant is really big too so never a problem getting a table. Swimming pools are fantastic, one for ball games, lilos, and one for more relaxing swim, no lilos games allowed in there, a big children’s pool with a play area in middle, I would recommend this hotel but point out about the alcohol. The entertainment is downstairs and indoors, we never went so cannot comment, I’m on holiday so want to be outside in the warmth, they do have live music outside some were good some were not to our taste, there’s a small shop in the hotel abit pricey, but also a shop over the road, not big but perfect for snacks and reasonably priced. You don’t have to get up early for a Sunbed unless you want a particular one.

We have just returned following an 11 night stay at the LP. We last visited in 2016 when my wife was expecting our first child. Fast forward 7 years and we returned with our 2 daughters and my parents. Reading some of the reviews on here prior to arriving we were a little concerned with what to expect however we soon realised we needn’t have. The holiday was fantastic, food in particular was amazing, so much variety and something for everyone. We loved the drinks, cocktails were lovely and plenty of choice. Of course not all were to our taste but we wouldn’t expect them to be. The rooms are small but we knew that before booking, after all we don’t go on holiday to sit in the room so this wasn’t an issue for us, nor were some blue carpets that we often saw mentioned (who really cares about carpet) . Finally the staff - what made the holiday so fantastic. The hotel are so fortunate to have the likes of Rudi De Ponte at the helm. Don’t think I’ve ever been to a hotel where I’ve seen so many management staff, if you have an issue it won’t take you long to find someone to help you. The lifeguards were brilliant with the kids, in particular Mahmoud who my girls loved. The entertainment team work incredibly hard and put on some excellent shows. We would absolutely love to return in the future. A brilliant hotel with amazing staff, great food and lots to do. Those who are due to come in the future will no doubt have a wonderful holiday just like we did.

We have just arrived home in the UK after a fantastic 10 day holiday at Louis Phaethon. This was my second time visiting having previously visited a number of years ago with my daughter. Plus points Hotel underwent a refurb in 2020 so all public areas are looking very clean and fresh. Choice of food, especially for vegetarians is excellent. Lifeguards are brilliant and totally on the ball, we watched them jump in and aid struggling children a couple of times. They are also not afraid to exert rules to promote the safety for everyone…something we seem to be too scared to do these days in the UK!! Staff are all lovely and we had some lovely bar staff ensuring we always had a full glass. Negatives Our room was meant to be a double room but we were given a twin…it also was quite damp and always had a musty smell. The girls room was lovely and there were no issues with damp. Outdoor toilets need a refurb…the cleaners are amazing at constantly getting in there and scrubbing but they never quite smell fresh. A lovely time was had by all and we look forward to returning at some point in the future. Thank you Phaethon staff for looking after us!!
