We stayed at the Royal Hotel in June 2023 as part of a tour group. Positives - Great location right in the middle of restaurants and easy walking distance to Republic Square, the Cascades park - Rooms are a good size Negatives - We stayed 4 nights and had some sort of wifi issue every day. Some days we had no reception at all. Reception was best in the hotel reception and even then the quality was low - Staff had loud arguments in the front reception - Another guest who checked in for the first time early one morning came back down to tell the staff that her room had not been cleaned. She needed to be moved - Fruit offered at breakfast was bruised and poor quality - The chairs in the dining room were stained and looked like they hadn't been cleaned in years - Secure lock up for your luggage when you check out was just putting luggage behind the bar in the reception area. It wasn't tagged or securely stored - Reception was not continuously staffed. On the day of checkout, I had to go to the kitchen to find someone to help. They ended up having to call the reception staff as they couldn't be found - We had a coffee station and no kettle. Only one person in our group of 30 had a kettle in their hotel - The bathroom has been remodeled but there is no sealant under the glass shower panel so your bathroom floor gets wet While the hotel is rated 4 stars, be aware that you probably won't experience this but will pay the price of a 4 star hotel

Good Points: 1. The Hotel was located in the heart of the city, particularly Republic Square. So, it was ideal for moving around and also to cater for food. 2. Being 3 Star, the room was good enough for 2 adults and 2 kids. Bad Points: 1. Room: The room, toilet in particular, was not cleaned during the 3 nights of our stay. When we complained, just the dustbin was picked up. 2. Facilities: No elevators in the Hotel. Our room was in Level 4 and we had to carry our luggage by hand. However, this point was manageable to us. May be an issue if any old people travel. 3. Bedding: We had clearly mentioned that we are four of us and we need proper bedding. We had booked 1 Double bed with extra bed. Double bed was a little small, but was fine. The extra bed was like a stretcher. Even one person while sleeping will fall outside the bed, in case he/she turns . We had been to Georgia and Serbia. But the extra bed (width of bed) that was provided was good enough for two kids to comfortably sleep. 4. Additional Bed Chargeable: Then we had to ask for an additional bed and they ended up giving us again one more stretcher kind of bed and charged us AMD 9,000 for 3 nights. 5. Breakfast: For 3 days of stay we had the same menu with hardly any change.

The interior and its components throughout the hotel and in rooms - curtains, furniture, bathroom and plumbing, coats, towels, slippers, mini bar and the rest, it is what every guest needs - it is not important that he is a businessman or a recreational. Breakfast and restaurant staff, which speaks quietly in many languages, is a separate topic. You will find everything behind a modest breakfast, with everything very fresh and delicious, with the right feed. Apart from the right Swedish table of hot dishes and cold snacks, fresh vegetables and fruit, cashes and sweets, the young beautiful and very original actress Lilia, or any other staff of the restaurant, For you, he will cook aromatic coffee in the east and prepare an omlet as you need. Having stayed in this hotel for about 20 days, we now know exactly where we will stay next time in Yerevan. By the way, walking to the heart of Yerevan is exactly 35 minutes. The hotel is good and the rooms are huge enough for me. Although, they don't have lift specially when your room is in the higher floor but it won't change the fact that they give best service. Room was perfectly clean and sanitize which is i love most. Breakfast is from 8-11am which I was so excited everyday to wake up and eat their traditional food as I never tried. They have contacts in reception if you wanna call a tour package, it was close enough to Republic Square.

We had our own criteria for choosing a hotel. Convenient location for us, something within walking distance, near bus stop, metro, shops, restaurants. The photos of the hotel in the advertisement correspond to the declared ones, the room is clean, in order to be cleaned you need to hang a tag or speak to the reception. A budget hotel in the city center, saved the evening by the pool and courtyard, where you can sit with local drinks and discuss new impressions of Yerevan. Breakfast from 9.00 am, modest, but we had enough, instant coffee. We asked for a kettle and I made myself coffee (I bought it for myself) as I like it. Breakfasts are held in another room without windows, which upset me, I wanted windows with views of Ararat. The hotel is located on a slope, below the river and there are restaurants, in the evening loud music plays and songs are sung, but the noise is until 23.00. Such rules in Armenia. The staff is friendly, responsive. The hotel left a good impression. Recommend for a city break in hot weather.

The food in the restaurant is delicious, the air conditioner in the room worked poorly, was suffocated. In the confirmed confirmation from TRIP.COM my booking included breakfast for 3x hotel guests. In the same hotel, they said that my booking without breakfast and could not solve this problem for a long time.

И советовал очень крутые кафе в Ереване ) Любые просьбы тут же выполнялись ! Из минусов … выбирайте номер не на солнечной стороне и вам не будет жарко Странный завтрак с картофелем пюре ( но вы же в Ереване и здесь свой колорит ) Не понравилась кухня в room service Принесли быстро но…паста с морепродуктами была с местными специями , салат цезарь с неправильной зеленью …. Мини бар не охлаждает напитки . Цены на всё приемлемые . Не так далеко от гостиницы находится рынок ГУМ , где вы можете купить сухофрукты , золотой рынок , ярмарка Вернисаж , Площадь Республики, Северный проспект ( местный Арбат ) и Каскад ( где много крутых кафешек )

Our group was based in the Ani Central Inn. The hotel claims 4 stars but it’s not. Some parts of the hotel have decent rooms. I wasn’t that lucky. My room was small, noisy ( from outside and the corridor) and unpleasant . The cleanness of the bed was questionable as I found a long black hair on the bed sheet when lifted the blanket. Everything looked shabby and cheap. Breakfast was OKish . To use the swimming pool in the basement you have to pay extra. The location- 15 min walk to the centre along not a very glamorous street full of cheap shops. There is a shopping centre and a central market opposite the hotel. After a sleepless night, I moved to Holiday inn and finally felt comfortable and relaxed. I don’t recommend this hotel.

This is everything you would expect of a modern Luxury Collection property. The rooms, the pool, the gym, breakfast... all top notch. Location is also perfect. There were, however some problems. Some serious. Some minor. Serious: - there is no way to contact the hotel electronically prior to arrival. There is no published email. I contacted them by Facebook Messenger, and they gave me an email address.... to which they did not reply. I recontacted via Messager... and they did not reply. No email address for a hotel in 2023 is not acceptable. - I was arriving ahead of the check-in time (10am vs 2pm) and checking out well before the check-out time (6am vs 12 noon). I explained the situation, said that I did not need my room early but i) if it was available great but ii) if it wasn't I would freshen up and change my travel clothes in the gym changing room. The answer - 'if you want the room before 2pm, you pay 50% of the daily rate. You may access the gym only after 2pm'. I was shocked. I understand that they are under no obligation, but refusing to allow someone to use the changing room?? I insisted. Eventually they relented. The changing room was perfect (and empty). But not good first impressions. - Returning from dinner, I was surprised that there is no evening turn-down service. I went to bed just before 10pm (I had been travelling) and did not think to put up DND sign because I was getting up at 6am and receiving room service breakfast. The turn down service came into my room just after 10pm when I was in bed. That is bizarrely late IMO (note that Yerevan is a late city with limited morning activity). - Room service breakfast was delicious except that orange juice was in a bottle. In Armenia, fresh OJ is available from any roadside stall. Surely the kitchens of the Alexander can produce it for breakfast? The hotel is expensive. It seems to be priced with the diaspora in mind who will not be surprised by NYC or Paris prices. For example, the $200 per hour for a massage is really extreme in this part of the world. I have no doubt about their claim to be the best hotel in Armenia, and I appreciated the luxury and service after some challenging travels through the Caucuses. However, I do think the management should get a grip on the service/value balance.

Rested with the family in August 22 at the hotel. Looking at a nice hotel, the room is excellent and large, clean towels and underwear. A little pompous and ampirous, but it's for the amateur. Everything is clean and neat. But there are huge consequences: 1. Restaurant - breakfast is served in the restaurant , a la dining room. Cheap rolling tables, with waiters with trolleys as in the dining room. Breakfast is varied. Good coffee espresso , cappuccino and Americano are not available . Casha is terrible. But the choice of vegetables and fruit is great. Despite the rich choice, breakfast was a terrible impression. 2. The Internet is simply not here. The room luxuriant was not possible to work , the video connection didn't work 3. The apocalypse of our stay in the room , was the absence of the Internet in the room . The staff of the Resepshen Milan, Eliza and Aram could not solve the problem . The Internet was not at 7 p.m. or at 10 p.m. nothing changed. Answer the question to whom the application was handed over, who accepted , which number was not able either. This suggests that no processes are built in the hotel . It is a pity that a hotel claiming to be 4 stars cannot rebuild normal customer orientation . We will definitely not recommend this hotel. There are many hotels in Yerevan to order better .
