The stay at Golden Nest was a disappointing experience. Following were the problems faced - 1. Front Door: The door handle was damaged, and the lock was faulty. (See attached photo) 2. Chairs: Both chairs in the room were broken and uncomfortable. Despite reporting the issue to the reception, the chairs were not replaced as promised. (See attached photo) 3. Switches: The electrical fixtures in the room were in a state of disrepair. The switches were damaged, the fan regulators didn't work, and the lights were poorly placed. (See attached photo) 4. Bathroom: The bathroom was in a deplorable condition. All the taps were leaking, causing the bathroom to be constantly wet. Additionally, the basic amenities like the bucket and mug were dirty and unhygienic to use. (See attached photos) 5. Food: While the food quality was okayish, a significant portion of the menu items were unavailable, limiting our dining options. Even the tea was not available at 6:30 PM. 6. We had booked a room for three people but the toiletries were provided only for 1 person and that also, on request 7. No Intercom Service. For any room service, we need to call to their mobile number 8. No Wi-Fi in rooms. Wi-Fi is present in the reception but it is not working. 9. No Menu is provided in the room. Even though after paying so much, the basic needs and overall experience is very bad. I would definitely not recommend this resort to anyone.

Overall good experience. Would be better if phone in room available to call house keeping and room service staff. Toiletries item can be improved Good view, ambience, nearer to lake, easy approach and spacious room.

Great trails Yercaud by GRT is One of the best place to visit in Tamilnadu. I am so glad to share my experience at the great trails from start to end. The staff are know the real meaning of hospitality. Every one is spreading the positive vibes from their pure smile at every time after done their best in hospitality. They provide the best transport service for visiting the best places in Yercaud. I feel so safe and happy with their transport support. Great trails is placed at very beautiful location. Every view from the trails is very amazing and make everyone feel the real enjoyment of hill sides. Balcony view is ultimate in great trails. Don't miss the morning view at great trails when any one of you will stay at there. Very nice creativity construction. I don't have a word's to explain about their Food. Very delicious food. If you expect your food will come good. But you receive your food with unexpected taste. I feel that from here. If anyone wants to make their Yercaud trip with great experience, Star with great trails here you will feel the real enjoyment of the world. Thank you great trail for made my day with the great experience.

No way... Very poor service from restaurant... what we order won't get from restaurant.... What they suggest you have to eat.... This is the main reason and the person Mr.Siva from restaurant... Is very poor in customer service....

We were two families that traveled to this resort between 14 to 15 May 2022. I had visited this place sometime in Aug 2015. Based on the previous experience, I decided to stay at this place to let the kids have a break after a long while. Here is my upfront review of this property. Pros - Good views, caring housekeeping and kitchen staff, quiet near to all the tourist spots (especially the Yercaud lake) and the gaming arena called Poppy's. Cons - Very steep climb if you are not travelling by your own/rented vehicle. The rooms need better maintenance. Electricity is an issue (goes off umpteen times in a day), In the premium category and in sharp contrast to what you see in the gallery or photos, the rooms need better care, bathrooms have modern shower fittings and the likes but water leaks from every pore. Hot water is an issue (again owing to the electricity issue). Also, the bathrooms are very slippery after a bath. The pantry appliances like the fridge and microwave could be more clean and maintained well. The double bed cots need better care since some are very rickety (even if you sit or lie down). Furnitures are very old and require change. Well, I could go on but hey, we are just out of Covid and business may be catching up. So, the benefit of doubt goes to the hotel. Hope, they note down the issues and start doing something about it slowly. A welcome kit with basics like a couple of good soaps, shampoos, dental effects etc can up the USP. They do not ask for any review of reference which I think is something they should start doing. Summary - A place you can visit but do not hope or imagine what you see on the photos. Thanks to Karthik and the rest of the team who are doing a good office job.
