very professional and Classie for my mums funeral which would never be a joyful event. couldn't fault staff, facility and ambiance. I would recommend the venue to anyone looking for a dignified wake reception. The catered for all dietary requirements

Turned up, light off, reception closed and number went to answerphone. Had to book somewhere else. Never stayed at a place that closes its reception at 8pm. There was no mention of this on the booking through our booking system. Their website does say to let them know 24 hours before if you need to check in later than 8pm. Didn’t book direct so didn’t see this till trying to find how to contact them.

There was nothing that could have been better. On arrival the receptionist was helpful and friendly, and I was so pleased when I first entered the room. It was light, clean, smelt fresh. ansd was well equipped with kettle, teas, coffees...and nice toiletries. I had a really pleasant evening there, and the bed (and bed linen) was excellent. Next morning I requested scrambled egg on marmite toast, and the chef even went to the trouble to make a special marmite butter! It was such a nice touch. I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel and am so glad that I chose this place to stay. Nothing to complain about.

Another B&B that doesn’t understand that one of the B’s is for Breakfast. Apparently they no longer have a chef to do breakfast so can’t offer the second B. I only found this out when I checked in which was a disappointing start, the guy on check in was very apologetic about it but not enough to offer to come in and make it for me. I may be labouring the point of not being offered breakfast at a B&B but when it’s literally 50% of the name I think it’s fair. The room itself was clean, a bit shabby but serviceable and about what you’d expect for the price.

Very welcoming Very clean The rooms are extremely comfortable Wi-Fi is spot on all day and night And it situated in a nice quiet spot at the back away from the busy life and noise of Yeovil Perfect location for getting food or running to the shops

Myself and My son stay here and , this hotel is the most lovely hotel , the staff go above and beyond to help you, everyone is friendly and caring and , the housekeepers are amazing lovely girls also , every day without fail they give you fresh toiletries, towels check on you and everyone at the hotel including the managers are lovely , we are in a lovely location and setting also for a family stay. Thanks Number 9 x

We were referred to this hotel when hotel we had booked was not suitable. The manager, Meg, went out of her way to make sure we were satisfied. The room (a twin - No 15) was outside with parking in front. No food available, but Meg informed us of several options for dinner (see Castellos) and breakfast nearby. Hotel and room was very clean and welcoming.

Excellent service from start to finish. Meg was exceptional throughout, always replied very quickly and answered any questions throughly. Service on the day was 5 star and the food was amazing, especially the home made quiches and cakes. Everyone who attended commented on the great service and food. Would highly recommend The Preston Hotel for any celebration needs.
