Location very good, next to tourist Centre, close to super market and Main street. But quite old. Included breakfast, acceptable at this price.

This is a super worse hotel I have booked in recent years. I can’t imagine this exists in a developed country in this era. The hotel is old and shabby and needs renovation at once. It’s not clean inside the room and lacks amenities. I do not dare to open the window as lunch boxes are abandoned in the stagnant water with birds lingering right outside. The situation is even worse as there is no hot water supply under the weather of 5 degrees Celsius!
Remember the rate of a twin room is about 250 CAD😤😤

Well located, breakfast ok, they don’t clean the room and make the bed everyday, only take the garbage and change the towels. I have stayed in many hotels in Europe , Africa and Asia and never seen like this.

It was great that there were amenities nearby the hotel. However, the noise around the hotel was disturbing when I was sleeping. I would not recommend it to anyone who wants a quiet place.

I had a hard time booking other Yellowknife accommodations, so I chose this one. It wasn't bad when I actually got there! The location is right in the middle of downtown, so it was good for shopping and walking around before the Aurora tour. However, there were homeless people sitting around the accommodation during the day, so it was a little scary, but they didn't do any harm or anything. In the evening and early morning, there was a hotel guard on the first floor, so the security was okay. The lighting in the room was a little dark, but it wasn't cold and the hot water came out right away. The soundproofing was a little disappointing.

Very good ~ Huangdao is my first choice to see the Aurora. I went with Aurora Story. The tour guide and hotel were very good. Experienced. The hotel is in the city center.
