Sealight Resort Hotel

Just heading home from a family holiday at the Sealight Resort in Kusadasi with our 12 year old son and 10 year old daughter. Overall our first experience of Turkey was positive and hotel was good however there is room for improvement in the hotel whilst it is acknowledged this is the end of the season. POSITIVES Rooms and public areas very clean. Animations team very friendly and enthusiastic - activities were a bit limited (especially for kids 9-15 who were too old for kids club) however twice daily darts competitions were a big hit and fun for all ages. The African show and bingo night was excellent family entertainment. Dilay, Hassan, and Suleyman in the animation team were all excellent. Staff were very friendly throughout the resort, spoke good English, and helpful. Turgut in particular was very attentive and friendly in the Asian restaurant and snack bar. Snack bar food was good and arguably better than main restaurant. Kids really enjoyed the water park area which had a good variety of quality slides. Asian restaurant food was excellent. Kids loved ice cream and waffle parlour. Transfer time to airport just over an hour. Quiet location however only 6 euro taxi ride into Kusadasi. WHAT COULD BE BETTER? Kids Club - suitable for very young children. For kids say 8 and upwards limited activities in the resort apart from pool/water park/darts/games courts- the games room not great. Buffet area was very busy most nights despite being end of season. Sometimes it was a challenge to find a table and more of a challenge to get drinks with your meal…appeared to be understaffed. Food was good but not great-no theme nights and not all foods/sides labelled which is not ideal if anyone has food allergies. Options for kids was limited compared to other AI hotels we have stayed at. A la Carte restaurants- one of the attractions of staying at this hotel was 6 restaurants. However we did not realise until we arrived that if staying for a week you are only entitled to use the A la Carte restaurant offering one evening in five. Also only one time available - 7pm- for all the restaurants. Appreciate that the hotel is nearing end of the season which possibly explains limited availability. Wifi in our rooms more or less non-existent which did mean devices used more in reception/lobby/pool area. Swimming pools (indoor/outdoor) were not heated and water was very cold. Dogs and cats- as a family we are animal lovers and no issue with cats and several dogs throughout the complex. It could be a bit uncomfortable for some when eating to have cats and dogs sitting beside table looking for food.The dogs all had collars and staff advised they were hotel dogs- it was sad that despite the heat that there did not appear to be water left out for the cats and dogs to drink from. We would sometimes see them drinking chlorinated water from pool which cannot be good for them. Overall the weather was excellent and we enjoyed our holiday at the Sealight resort and the Kus

First holiday in Turkey lovely hotel lovely staff only thing was that the drink was horrible and watered down . Was not able to eat food properly because I was unsure of what it was . Hotel spotless room big enough had small problem with air conditioning but got it sorted . WiFi was a let down could not make calls home to ireland

My family and I stay at this hotel almost every year. We all love everything about sealight. They have a main restaurant and a couple a la carte. There is so much to choose from. The Chinese and Italian restaurant were the best in my opinion but the others have really delicious food as well. 10/10

It was a great hotel. I enjoyed staying there. It was a great experience. The food was great, with a variety of choices for every taste. There were entertaining programs every night which made it more fun. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially a lady named Shirin.

Our holiday experience was so good. The rooms were cleaning everyday. Food was delicious and lots of choice. Especially we liked mini club girls. They have funny and interesting activities for children. They have different shows, kids parties, sand painting, mini disco every evening. Great thanks to mini club girls, Ceren, Gizem, Marie, Madina and Natalia they made my girls holiday and give her the happiest memories ever. When our holiday end my girl told me I will miss my animator girls

An excellent hotel, the animation team fantastic, especially Berk, very kind and skilled, sociable and punctual, the manager Vedat Kaya very attentive, good strategist, sociable. The water, the beach, the pools, the food, the cleaning services, everything very well thought out and very beautiful! Congratulations! We will definitely come back!
