Is the hotel with the grand in the name basically built in Showa? Anyway, it is old and made in Showa. It is old and dirty with outstanding deterioration. There was a considerable aging smell from the futon. I was sick and couldn't put a futon on my shoulder. It's too bad. Even if it's old, it's too unsanitary. My brother and me had a terrific stay in the beautiful setting. The drive up the mountain on a tiny road is well worth it. The hostess is so friendly and wonderful, and was so hospitable. She explained the food dishes that were served using Google translate. The food was amazing, so varied and included local specialties: Trout, fried moth larvae, black moss that grows on rocks ( local delicatessen), wild hog soup, deer sashimi, etc. We experienced the finest Japanese food and hospitality. Traditional bedroom with tatami mats and access to the unsen were added amenities. Thank you for the memorable experience! Laurent

日奈久では老舗の旅館で、３０年ほど前に泊まったことがあります。今日はイベントの帰りで日帰り湯を利用させてもらいました。入口からすごく雰囲気があって、お風呂に行くまでも充分楽しめます。ロビーや廊下の雰囲気を楽しむのもいいでしょう。日帰り湯をやってくれてありがたいです。１月から３月までは晩白柚を入れた晩白柚湯でお風呂の雰囲気も良かったです。露天風呂はいつまでも入ってていい感じでした。駐車場は旅館の裏にあり、こちら側には晩白柚神社が祀ってありました。
