... where to start?! This hotel is definitely not a 4* - I would go for a 2* at best. We booked two rooms for ourselves and our 18 yr old daughter. Having endured a two-hour transfer (thanks for lying, Thomas Cook), we arrived around 1am and was greeted by darkness from reception. An older man approached us through reception with a fag hanging out of his mouth and booked us in. When we got to our rooms, it was evident that these were uninhabitable. The furniture had been painted over so much that we couldn't close the bathroom door due to layers of old paint. The beds were not the double we booked but two single beds pushed together. The sheet on one bed had patches on and were threadbare. Black hairs were on the sheet. There were also some unidentifiable marks on them (I hate to think what!). The sanitary ware in the bathroom was encrusted with green (tarnished and dirty). The bath was stained. The towel rail was hanging on by a screw-thread. The toilet bowl was stained. The tiles on the floor and on the walls had dirty grout separating them - some were broken or scratched. The towels themselves were stained. The extractor fan was hanging out of the ceiling. The shower head was encrusted and not attached securely to the wall. There was black mould on the ceiling in the bathroom and the air-con was insufficient and dated - there were no indicators as to what the temp was. As you can imagine, we complained to Thomas Cook who told us to see the rep in the morning which we duly did. The 'directors' of the hotel were present and our rep said, 'you need to move them as they have the pictures'. The next rooms we saw were an improvement but the bed in one was broken. We insisted this was mended before we moved. And, the sheets were stained..again, these were changed for us. Again, the air-con was non-existent in one room and the 'director' began to tell me that it was because the temperature outside was 'too hot' for it to work properly.. umm, think that's why you have air-con??? An engineer did come out and turned the temp in our room down which did improve it but it was still insufficient to cope with the 42 degrees temp. The dining experience was something else... the same thing every day and every morning. No proper indicators as to what was what. Purely catering for other Africans at the hotel and not for any Europeans. We were told by staff that 800 people were booked in to the hotel (they made some derogatory comments regarding their origins) - only 12 of them were Tunisians and, from what we could ascertain, there were only 8 British people - not a problem but something to be aware of. We are seasoned travellers who embrace different cultures but nothing had prepared us for this.. pushing and shoving in the queque, loading plates (and several of them per person) and then wasting food. Feral children who were not reprimanded and were roaming freely in the dinining area. Plates still had some food residue on them. Tablecloths were not

Wided and Wafa and the only the best thing in the hotel. The ladies are very receptive extremely supportive Amazing customer service 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Ahmed and Rabei are the receptionists at night time they were TOPPP as well super friendly and helpful. The receptionists need a raise for the excellent work they do. Other than that, Very Disappointed – Poor Hygiene and Organisation I had a very unpleasant stay at this hotel. The overall organisation was chaotic, and the hygiene standards were shockingly low. The pool was unusable – it had a strong smell of urine, which made it impossible to enjoy. Trash was scattered around the property, and it seemed like no proper cleaning or maintenance was being done. It’s really disappointing to spend money expecting a relaxing stay, only to be met with such neglect. I do not recommend this hotel unless major improvements are made.
