Let me be absolutely clear: my recent stay at Hotel Paradis Palace in Hammamet was, without question, one of the most appalling, filth-ridden, and health-compromising experiences I have ever endured in what claims to be a “FOUR-STAR” establishment. If this place were graded on actual cleanliness and hygiene standards rather than whatever fantasy rating they’ve conjured up for their marketing, it wouldn’t even qualify for a single star. In fact, a starless void would feel too generous. From the moment I stepped into my assigned room, I was confronted with conditions that I found profoundly unhygienic. The toilet, for example, showed signs of what appeared to be deep neglect. I noticed a hair on the lid and visible discoloration on the seat—far from what any reasonable guest would consider acceptable. It gave every impression that it had not been thoroughly cleaned in a very long time. The bathtub’s interior walls sported a yellowish buildup and stray debris that I felt should never appear in a hotel bathroom, let alone one that claims a four-star rating. The sink area was similarly disheartening: dried stains and hardened residues on the counter, and taps marked by what looked like limescale and possibly mould, suggesting to me a serious lapse in basic sanitation practices. Inspecting the beds did nothing to improve my impression. Underneath the double bed’s mattress, I encountered a layer of dust and debris that seemed to have accumulated over a considerable period. The single beds were no better: I saw what I interpreted as mold-like growth under the spring box and mattress, and one bed featured a stained duvet and an unsettling brownish streak. In my view, this went well beyond a minor oversight and raised serious questions about the frequency and quality of housekeeping. I complained and was moved to a sea-view room. Although this second room appeared somewhat less grimy, I still found it far below any reasonable standard of cleanliness. By this point, my trust in the establishment’s hygiene practices was irreparably damaged. On my final night, the presence of a cockroach in my room underscored just how far conditions had strayed from what I consider hygienic and comfortable hospitality. This unwelcome encounter only deepened my sense of unease and dissatisfaction. Beyond the room conditions, I also became quite unwell during my stay, requiring emergency medical attention while in Tunisia. While I cannot be certain of the precise cause of my illness, the timing was unsettling. The stress and the general lack of hygiene I observed certainly did nothing to reassure me. I was left shaken, out of pocket due to unforeseen medical costs, and deeply disturbed by the circumstances. In fairness, I should note that the buffet and bar staff were courteous, and the desk manager did allow me to print my emergency travel documents without charge. Unfortunately, no amount of politeness could offset the state of the rooms or the distress I experienced

This is the 2nd time we've been to this hotel as we came last year it's a lovely place on its own beach, we asked for a beach view high floor which we got the room was lovely with fantastic views from the balcony the beds are not comfortable at all we spoke to other holiday makers who felt the same many a morning with bad backs. The hotel is in a great location the hotel grounds are lovely, clean with plenty of palm trees greenery. The staff are great and always friendly. The food choice is a bit the same and tbh you do get a bit fed up with it but you can find something to eat, the coffee machine was nice and coffee/cappuccino was drinkable alot of people don't queue which is annoying. Im Not much of a drinker but there is a good selection on the all inclusive drinks list. Plus the cocktails are OK. The entertainment team last year was alot better not keen on the new lot of entertainment this year the shows they put on at night wasn't great at all shocking to be honest, and you get sick of the same music being played from about 7pm onwards also it's very loud at the stage area from this time until about 1.30am so if you like sleep I'd ask for a room out of main building maybe the bungalows at the back we actually didn't mind it and wanted a seaview. You We went in the relax garden pool most days its at the back and its quiet and relaxing. The beach is lovely and clean with beautiful waters, And theres camels/horses about with locals offering camel rides. Its easy enough to get loungers at the pool and on beach area. Its nice to go into yasmine marina which you can get a taxi from the hotel the locals are friendly and theres plenty of shops and places to eat out if you needed too. The shop on the hotel grounds its great and sells gifts, snacks, clothes, toiletries all at reasonable prices. Would we come back yes but not straight away there's plenty of places all over the world to see.

This is my 2nd time to Tunisia, 1st to this hotel loved its location very clean and welcoming reception. Most of the reception team was lovely and helpful how ever 1 rude gentleman damped my spirits on my second day, the bar staff where absolutely lovely and very attentive my son was obsessed with sprite and after a few days they remembered and always made him feel welcome, the room was a large family room looking out over the pool and sea so amazing views all round, housekeeper was lovely clean fresh towels everyday. Rooms lil outdated n no working tv in our room tho. Beach was lovely even after a storm for 2 day they was clearing it best they could to make it better, not great that u are hassled by beach sellers and made to feel terrible if u don’t buy. Food not great, struggled the 2 weeks to find anything I liked same with my son. Soup was lovely. If u like eggs breakfast is the way to go!! Our spa experience was a lil disappointing left long periods of time cold whilst 1 staff massaged and did a facial on 3 people. However the best part of our holiday has to be the animation team Salma, momo, ziko and jambo made this holiday the most joyful, iv never laughed so much they where absolutely fantastic. I’m coming back next year and can’t wait to see what joys they bring again. Thanks animation team!!! A big shout out 2 the 2 ladies at breakfast cooking the eggs and for remembering how I liked my eggs the lil things made a big difference to my holiday x

Came to this hotel in March and really enjoyed it. Came in November and its changed. The rooms are a little dated but that doesn’t matter they were clean. Reception staff were excellent the beach is fantastic the weather was great and that’s where it ended. They don’t cater for English food. Only occasionally. Breakfast was salads, cakes, and eggs no English type cereals no cooked tomatoes no beans (I do know that they don’t have bacon) . Lunch was at the beach restaurant covered in flies and food not good except soup and donut lady was very pleasant the dates you couldn’t see for flies appalling hygiene standers.Evening meal was similar every night cakes were good (but not for my weight) Drinks were ok but not much variety on all inclusive menu had much better in other hotels in Tunisia . Entertainment was make your own they had two outside acts only in the time we were there the rest was make your own. No children’s disco as hardly any children there. Line dancing started at 9.30 just a few guest joined in then three animation dancers on stage dancing all out of time. This is noway a four star hotel. TUI rep never there

My second stay in paradise and it feels like home. I have nothing but great things to say. The whole hotel team and management all deliver a fantastic service, super friendly and extremely accommodating from start to finish they really can't do enough for you! I'm in a sea view, family, double room and it's absolutely stunning, highly recommended. The food is lovely, lots of choices. The hotel is very clean and has a spa, a night club,a few pools to choose from even a quiet pool if you don't want music or daily entertainment, out of season an indoor pool too. All situated right next to the beach. Highly recommend excursions to explore and experience this beautiful country. The only bad thing is...I have to leave. Paradise will always be a special place for me and will be my first choice every time. Thank you to each and every one of you for a perfect stay.

Visited this hotel back in 22 and had a great time for 2 weeks so we decided to stay for a whole month this time. Everything about the hotel is great, friendly staff on reception, bar and restaurant staff work very hard and always there with a smile. We had a bungalow this time and it was very spacious and comfortable. Room attendants give you plenty of water and toilet roll and will clean your room daily if you like. Many options for food and lots of choices from salad, pasta, meat and fruit, restaurant staff are brilliant, accommodating and friendly. Pool areas are clean and tidy with friendly lifeguards who will bring you a mattress for the sun loungers. The main pool gets busy but always sun loungers available. There's a children's pool with slide and a quiet pool at the back of the grounds which is fab too. Beautiful beach with lots of sun loungers just be sure to get there early to get one. There is also a shop in the hotel that has pretty much anything you need and great staff there too. The animation team are fantastic and work very hard to keep everyone entertained and always engaging, lots of activities all throughout the day and shows in the evening and then onto the beach bar. Special shout-outs to Scooby, Ziko and Momo who we met here back in 2022 and Jambo is a great addition to the team, these guys are an absolute credit to the hotel and our time here wouldn't be the same without them. 10/10 for all. Kimo and Gigi are great also, we just didn't have as much interaction with them as we did with superstar Scooby, superstar Ziko, superstar Momo and superstar Jambo. We would book solely on seeing these guys again. Hammamet has lots of things to do outside of the hotel and getting taxis there is very affordable. It would be better if you could actually find the TUI rep when you wanted, took over a week to find her to book trips and most days she had left before the time stated she'll be there. If you're looking to book some trips, I'd recommend sidi bou said and el jem, unfortunately I wouldn't recommend the 2 day Sahara desert tour. Alot of the time is spent on the coach (which is understandable) but the amount of stops to purchase souvenirs is silly. Also there are alot of extras to pay for, so make sure you take extra cash with you, alternatively they do a cash machine stop each day. Overall Tunisia has become a firm favourite on our travels. We look forward to returning to hotel paradis palace and seeing the staff and amazing animation team again.
