Lots of room for improvement: I booked two rooms for a family weekend. As soon as we arrived, the door to the first room was wide open. Neither room had been checked: absence of pillow covers in the 2 rooms, and absence of hand towels despite my request to the maid in the corridor, who simply told me that she was aware before leaving quietly before returning after a long wait, a remote control is missing in one of the rooms. Then, I asked for two duvets a little before 5 p.m., I came back in the evening and had to call to ask again, in the end only one had been provided, after calling reception. To top it off the parking issue was frustrating, I was unable to park due to the busyness however, another customer in a 4x4 was allowed to park right outside the door with the approval of the l security guard, while I was invited to park on the street.

We’ve just returned from a fantastic family holiday (2 adults, a 7-year-old, and a 15-year-old), and honestly, the hotel doesn't deserve the bad reviews it's been getting. First of all, it’s important to be realistic. This is a developing country, and while it's rated 4 stars locally, that doesn’t mean it's the same as a 4-star hotel in the UK. But once you adjust your expectations and look at it logically, there’s a lot to appreciate here. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. From reception to housekeeping and entertainment, everyone made a real effort to ensure we were happy. Our room was cleaned daily, and fresh towels were always provided. The pools were clean and well-maintained, with plenty of space for the kids to enjoy themselves. As for the food, there was a different theme each night, so we never felt bored with the options. Yes, the children’s food options were fairly similar most nights, but that’s quite common with all-inclusive packages. There was always something they could enjoy. One of the real highlights for us was the entertainment team—they truly go above and beyond to get everyone involved and make the evenings fun. Overall, we had a lovely time and felt well looked after. If you come with a bit of understanding and an open mind, you’ll have a great holiday too. Don’t let the negative reviews put you off. Would you like me to tailor this for a specific platform like TripAdvisor or Google Reviews?

This is the second time we have visited Tunisia and will not be the last. The hotel itself has had recent renovations and is spotless. Check-in was quick and easy. We arrived in the morning and as our room wasn’t ready we had a locked area to keep our bags and were given our wristbands so we could start using the facilities and use the food/drink areas. Room was clean and spacious, the most comfortable beds we have had in a hotel outside of the UK. Extra pillows provided quickly when asked. Towels provided daily - remember to tip housekeeping, they do an amazing job and always smiling. Food was good for an all inclusive, Tunisian night was my favourite with traditional foods and cooking! Good rotation of food - always something for everyone. Ice cream every night after 8pm in the restaurant so hang around for that! I can’t fault the entertainment team, always getting you involved in activities if you wanted, my family and I tried I bit of an everything. Maleek works you hard in Aqua gym! Ash is the most incredible dancer and Bella and Wess are brilliant and so much fun. Most people at the hotel are French and this is the main language however if they are aware English speakers are around they are more than happy to translate so everyone can join in. We had a brilliant holiday and would recommend the hotel. if you wanted some additional food, Marakesh over the road does the most amazing shawarma and is a bargain. We are there twice! A mostly local place they really appreciate tourists and are super welcoming. Sunflower shop next door has everything you could need and more!

I was in this hotel with friends for over a week. The hotel was very nice and clean. You have to walk to the beach about 5 minutes but that's not a problem. There is a whole tourist center nearby and yet the hotel is in a quiet place. Lots of space, several pools and an aqua park for older and younger people. Lots of space to relax in the water and outside, in the sun and in the shade. The decor is simple but maintained 100% in the atmosphere of Tunisian culture. The main hall is beautiful with lots of space to relax. The rooms are spacious with large balconies. Fully equipped and very clean. The food is very good and varied (every day taste surprises). Nothing was missing. Everyone can find something for themselves every day. And most importantly!!! service at the highest level. Everyone is very polite and helpful. The number and commitment of the restaurant staff, the entire area during the day and the bar were a pleasant surprise for me. Special thanks go to Bichou and his friends from the bar in the living room. Incredible personal culture, appearance and eloquence deserve 100% appreciation. The guys give it their all from the beginning to the end of a very long day of work. Despite the fatigue, the smile does not disappear from their faces. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to both a group of friends and families with children. If I could, I would go back there today.

Arrived and everything was fine, easyjet where great and the new planes are amazing. The guy at reception was trying to be awkward trying to change our 3 rooms for 6 people into 2 rooms for 6 people when we got to the hotel, you just need to be firm. Rooms where very clean and the waiters/ porter are amazing. Med our waiter looked after us incredibly, interacted well with our daughter and made sure we where happy and well topped up at all times. The whole place inside and outside the hotel are amazing, if you go for a bite out go to oggis for a good burger but avoid cheese steak (tasted like birds eye burgers and constantly hassled by street sellers whilst eating) the kids and myself enjoyed the water slides and our 2 year old loved the pool after some convincing. Would absolutely return again. Advice: take money for tips, tip early and you get very well looked after even by the maids.

What can I say! Food was pretty good, some days the food was as average, but where the hotel really shines is a bar man called Hamza. He really go s above and Beyond, making sure your always serves and beyond the que. along sure your your tip is beyond great. He makes sure your glass is never empty and your glass is always full. He's a genuine gtreqy guy that works beyond the limit!

We arrived after a long journey, completely exhausted with two youngish children. The receptionist announced that the room wouldn’t be ready for another two hours. Not have that at a hotel arrival before. We were told that we could get something to eat and wait in the bar area. When we were allowed to go to the room, a gentleman from the reception said he would show us to the room and wheeled our suitcase. The room was okay, small, basic, clean enough. The gentleman then hung around and then asked for money. Since we only had large sterling notes with us (you can’t take Tunisian currency into the country!) we said we didn’t have anything on us. He then told us sternly to come and find him later to give him the money! The pools are fine, the slides are on intermittently throughout the day. A team of lifeguards patrol the area, which is moderately reassuring. However, the animation team - who do work incredibly hard — are relentlessly interrupting you to ask if you want to join in (occasionally bizarre) activities. When I say interrupt…. I do mean that they will actively wake you up, drag you out of a pool, nag, pester and hang around! I do appreciate that this is their job, but I must say we did feel a little bullied from time to time. There are also at least three excursion reps walking around the pool, a photographer attempting to photograph you to sell you the pictures, someone with a horse turned up at one point to encourage children to ride it around the pool, another lady had T-shirts to sell. Not really had this around the pool or hotel before. I’d say on average, you had a person coming round to approximately every 10 minutes to either encourage you to do aqua aerobics or to try and sell you something! As others have commented, the hotel is largely visited by the French. Upon our arrival, I think we were the only English people there. This is of course no problem whatsoever, other than all instructions, literature and attempts to speak to you are in French. They did seem to be a distinct dislike to the English as they started to arrive a couple of days into our trip. It’s also been mentioned by others how this is very much a hotel - and country - that expects tips constantly! I went to the pool bar to ask for a coffee (we were paid up all inclusive!) to be told by the waiter that he would bring it over to me. I said it wasn’t necessary, that I was happy to wait. He then looked firmly at me and told me “I look after you but you look after me…okay?”. We were ‘hard sold’ an excursion to the Colosseum in El Jem by our travel rep. We were told that this is where the film Gladiator was filmed. It isn’t. A simple Google search shows that travel reps will lie and tell you this. It was impressive nonetheless! But it’s an hour and 40 minutes away from the hotel, and I can’t say in all honesty that the town the Colosseum was situated in felt safe in anyway! Talking of safety… It must be said that walking from the hotel towards the marina
