Everything was good in this hotel except the staff, if you are European you will be welcomed with a big smile and good service, but if you are Arab or African you will feel like a beggar, it's a shame.

Fantastic animators – top-level fun all day long! The bartenders were friendly and quick, with perfectly made drinks. The hotel was very clean, with rooms cleaned daily. The beach was close by – a perfect place to relax. Highly recommended!

I had an awful experience at this resort. If you suffer from allergies, I would strongly advise against staying here — it's not clean or well-maintained, and there seems to be little awareness of allergy accommodations. Communication was a big issue too; English is not well understood, and the resort is clearly tailored more toward Arabic and French-speaking guests. That said, the food was okay, and I’d like to give a special mention to Yusra from the kids' club — she was fantastic with the children. Also, Lotfi, the restaurant manager, was very friendly and helpful. The staff generally do try their best, but unfortunately, that’s not enough to make up for the resort’s shortcomings. We had paid extra for a sea view room, but didn’t get one. When we raised the issue, we were shown a pool view room instead — but it wasn’t any better than the one we were already in. Our original room had a damaged bathtub that wouldn’t drain, which added to the frustration. Be cautious with the hotel shops and excursion reps — I felt like they were trying to rip us off. Overall, I definitely wouldn't recommend or revisit.

Fantastic holiday here at Marco Polo. Spent most of January here the weather was great, but cold at night. The rooms were very comfortable the heating kept you cozy at night when the temp dropped. Food was varied and was beautifully presented. Nothing was too much trouble in the restaurant, or anywhere for that matter. The staff were very smiley and obliging. In winter the hotel has low key vibe. The indoor pool was good. The spa was to die for. An immaculately clean hotel that I will be returning to again and highly recommend to others. This is my 6th stay at this hotel

Arrived to the hotel around 11am, got a room around 12:30pm, nice, clean, with everything you need. Food was great, everyone will find something they like, freshly grilled meat, livers… The pool was lovely, first two days the water wasn’t the best quality, but it definitely improved. Public toilets-surprisingly in countries like Tunisia is, you could see a cockroaches there, some maintenance would help as well Animation team-all of them seemed to be doing their best, I’m sure it can be tiring, so I hope one of the girls just forgot to bring me the change for a bingo tickets, even she came up with some excuses like she gave it to my daughter, then to a different lady… Now the biggest disappointment, the beach, it’s a short walk, the sand is full of rubbish, dirt, plastics… it would definitely deserve more attention, the sunbeds are outdated as well Hammam was lovely, a bit different than our previous experience from Morocco & Turkey, the massage was absolutely amazing From the trips, I would recommend quad bikes to be booked with one of the guys, discuss price, we got a good deal with horse trip together, which was great but for a beginner a bit long 😊 Would definitely recommend the place and wouldn’t mind to stay longer than a week 😊

I had a wonderful stay at the Occidental Marco Polo hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-equipped. The pool area was beautiful and relaxing, and the beach was just a short walk away. The food was delicious, with a good variety at every meal. The animation team was fantastic — full of energy, friendly, and always organizing fun activities for both kids and adults. I would definitely come back and recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation!

Animations were very good I had a great time, everyone will find something for themself. Food was good. Beach a little bit dirty but it was alright. Hotel room it depends, for me it was alright. However people here were so nice and funny. I had so much fun with them like everyone during they stay in here.
