My experience at the hotel was mostly positive. The staff was helpful and patient. The location of the hotel nearby the train station is very convenient. On the other hand, some guests around my room were very noisy and seemed to lack any understanding of how to behave in a hotel, going in between different rooms and chatting out loud in the hall in front the door of other guests. While this is not an issue concerning to the staff or the hotel directly, it would be a good idea to send some person from time to time to check that the atmosphere is quiet for everyone to have a good rest in every floor.

The hotel has a strategic location. Chaoyang Street is right next to the hotel, and Yantai Mountain is only one or two hundred meters away. You can also walk about a hundred meters to see the sea. It is convenient for eating, shopping and watching the scenery. The hotel facilities are newer, the lobby is not big, and the service is good. A slight problem is: when we entered the room, we found that the bathroom was not flushed, and the front desk phone was not answered. We had no choice but to go downstairs and find the front desk. Fortunately, the front desk immediately changed my room when they heard my description and dissatisfaction. They also gave me a thermos cup to apologize when I checked out, which was a timely solution to the problem. Personally I think it is a cost-effective hotel.
