However, the beach is a sad sight, dirty, covered with debris, no shops, restaurants, bars, no atmosphere whatsoever. boring and dull. city side is a huge factory. not the kind of place to enjoy the seaside. definitely not a ”golden” beach.

The hotel is located right on the beach. Very beautiful. Hotel is a bit dated. Rooms were nice but older furniture and carpets. There was only one electricity plug next to bed and it didn’t work. When we checked in and went to the room, the room keys wouldn’t work, so we had to go back down to the front desk, and they just assigned us to the room next door. The worst part was that the room was extremely warm, 28 Celsius! I called the front desk and they sent a maintenance worker to “look” at it. But the AC was broken. Instead of putting us in a different room with a working AC, the hotel brought a swamp cooler to our room. The swamp cooler was extremely loud, but it did cool the room down for the night. But the next day, the room was hot and we checked out early because we simply were not enjoying ourselves. We also wanted to order room service, but the hotel didn’t have the items in the menu available that we wanted :(. I ordered a hamburger, but it was gross.
