Very good experience in this hotel. Reception very professional and friendly. The hall of the hotel us clean and large, so good. The room was large and nice view. Many accessories in the bathroom and in the room. Only 2 things not so good. Have only 2 elevators working amd the bed room have the carpet.

The location of the hotel is great… it’s close to the beach. The breakfast was good… it was mostly Chinese food and the food was delicious. The carpet had some stains on it… the air conditioner wasn’t working well, it was too cold and couldn’t get adjusted… the staff wasn’t very helpful concerning this…it wasn’t helpful that my Chinese wasn’t great and neither was their English so we couldn’t understand each other well.

I have stayed at Mingyu Hotel before, but this is the first time that this hotel in Yantai is so bad. As soon as I entered the room, I felt like I had stepped back in time ten years. The decoration was seriously lagging behind. There was still a wall-mounted hair dryer, the furniture was obviously damaged, and the carpet was stained to the naked eye. What I don’t understand the most is that the price of the sea view exploration room I stayed in is more expensive than other ordinary double and double beds. Why do other room types look like they have been renovated? Could it be that the hotel itself said that the renovation in 2019 was only renovated? The room type is a sea view room but it is not installed? Are you right about such an expensive holiday? The elevators and corridors show the style of 20 years ago. Apart from the location, I don’t think there is anything to praise. This is my true feeling as a Ctrip platinum customer.
