Yantai Youran Homestay

The homestay that we carefully selected online really exceeded our expectations. There is a beach downstairs. We couldn't wait to go into the sea when we arrived. The room also provided children's toys and sand-digging toys. The children were very happy because they caught a lot of small fish and crabs.

Cheap and affordable

Sea view twin room, the room is very large, it is really comfortable to see the sea view! We came here with our elders and children and liked the spacious place. You can watch the sunrise in the morning, although it is on one side of the frame and a bit slanted. The sea view is nice. It is very close to the coast and there is a large parking lot with free parking. I think it is acceptable to walk two steps. After all, the price is half cheaper than next door. Since it was off season, I didn't feel any sound insulation issues. But there is one thing to say about the shower. It is small, the hot water is gone after just one shower, and it is not enough for myself after showering my child. The hygiene of the homestay is OK. Don't expect too much. The carpets in the tent didn't look very clean, but the bedding was ok. When the weather is cold, there are electric blankets and thick quilts, which is quite considerate. There are toys for children to play with. When we left, we left behind the toys we used to dig sand. It is also rather troublesome to take it away by plane, as we are the city farthest from the sea. This time, I was able to experience the joy of catching seafood at close range in the hotel. There is also a pot inside for simple cooking. Overall very pleasant!

Compared to the B&Bs I've stayed in other cities, this one is great value for money! Located in a high-end building near the beach, it has a doorman, elevators are accessed by swiping a card, and there are express lockers and takeaway stands in the lobby. The facilities in the room are made of high-quality materials and are exactly the same as in the photos. I booked the most economical room type, the staff said it was their smallest room type, but I think it is very spacious and comfortable for one person. If you want a sea view, you have to choose a sea view room. Stayed 10 nights and had few inconveniences, but it would be nice to have a fridge in the room, even a mini fridge, and the bathroom was a bit poorly cleaned as other reviews have mentioned, with a lot of hair from the previous occupants in the shower area. The staff is very caring and will try their best to assist with some additional requests, which is very rare! The location is very convenient to Yantai Airport, recommended!
