Family-friendly Hotels in Yantai

excellent hotel. at european standard. the room was a bit too hot at 31°5 and small window was condamned. but we turned off the AC and let the corridor door opened 2 hours and it was manageable. bathroom is great, the bath tub is large enough for 2. the staff is helpfull. the breakfast buffet is enough with western standards available (but the restaurant is a bit cold in morning). the little window on the side had a partial view on the sea. i will definitively stay there next time. with IHG

The hotel is located right on the beach. Very beautiful. Hotel is a bit dated. Rooms were nice but older furniture and carpets. There was only one electricity plug next to bed and it didn’t work. When we checked in and went to the room, the room keys wouldn’t work, so we had to go back down to the front desk, and they just assigned us to the room next door. The worst part was that the room was extremely warm, 28 Celsius! I called the front desk and they sent a maintenance worker to “look” at it. But the AC was broken. Instead of putting us in a different room with a working AC, the hotel brought a swamp cooler to our room. The swamp cooler was extremely loud, but it did cool the room down for the night. But the next day, the room was hot and we checked out early because we simply were not enjoying ourselves. We also wanted to order room service, but the hotel didn’t have the items in the menu available that we wanted :(. I ordered a hamburger, but it was gross. There are many nice hotels to stay at in Yantai. The Sheraton used to be one of them…

Pullman hotel is always a great choice when staying in Yantai. It's got a great location next to the Wanda Plaza which has good shopping and restaurants, as well as across the street from this very ancient style looking area which also has good shopping, restaurants, and some bars. Rooms are very clean and our view of the ocean was great. The staff is very polite and helpful from when i checked in to when I checked out, only person's name I remember was Alice Sun. There is also a really cool robot that can bring your food deliveries up to your room if you ask. The only recommendation I would have is it would be really great if there was a more direct pathway to the Wanda Plaza. Currently, you have to walk out the front of hotel and walk around the entire corner to get to the Wanda Plaza. Not a big deal at all but it would be great if there was a pathway or steps from when you exit the hotel, go directly to your left into the parking lot and can walk right down to the Wanda Financial Center over to the Wanda Plaza. Saves you an extra few minutes. :)

A very nice hotel, lovely room, decent breakfast, comfortable lounge and friendly staff. However, the beach is a sad sight, dirty, covered with debris, no shops, restaurants, bars, no atmosphere whatsoever. boring and dull. city side is a huge factory. not the kind of place to enjoy the seaside. definitely not a ”golden” beach.

Position is great. Just across the road from the seafront. Easy strolling distance to Yantai Hill etc. Nice views of Yantai and the sea. The pool and gym are very good. Breakfast has lots of variety both Chinese and English, although it would be nice to have seen more local seafood or other specialities. All in all, the experience is reliably smooth, comfortable, iif a bit cold and corporate. One piece of feedback is although the gym and showers are great, my experience of these was seriously compramised by a number of fellow guests hawking up in the showers, sinks and even in the pool itself. This is not only disgusting, but also a serious health risk in the current situation. While I understand that is difficult to control imdividual guests' behaviour, perhaps some signs would help?

My kids wanted to live in a treehouse. After reading the reviews, I arrived at the hotel without much expectation. After checking in, I became more and more amazed as I walked in. Every glance was a surprise. I commend the front desk friends for their thoughtfulness and meticulousness. It’s hard to leave Penglai because of love. Knight Hotel will Brush again

We initially booked a room from 27-31st July, but then decided to extend our stay with one day. Unfortunately our seaview room was unavailable so we had to change to another room. We had a lovely stay! Thank you .

The hotel was beautiful… the staff was very helpful and friendly… I was disappointed by the breakfast, they didn’t have a wide range of food selection and it was all Chinese food (a little western food will be nice, but it looked like I was the only foreigner there at that time so I understand why they might not offer western food). I didn’t really take photos of the inside but this was the view from my first room (3rd floor). And the other is the view from the gym(4th floor). The gym was still new and not complete but it probably is now… I will definitely be visiting again.

advantage: 1. The location is good, not far from Penglai Beach, within walking distance. The distance from Penglai Pavilion Scenic Area is not bad, and you can also walk there, which is especially critical during holidays. On the day of the visit, we walked from the hotel to the entrance of the Zhenyang Gate of the scenic spot. Along the way, cars from all directions converged on the scenic spot, and it started to get blocked from afar. 2. The bed is easy to move, and can be easily put together. It is suitable for bed-sharing parties with two children. The bedding is good, and it is very comfortable to sleep on. 3. Adjacent to the scenic spot, there is a pedestrian commercial street next to it, which is very lively, and it is not a problem to go shopping and eat. 4. The layout of the public area and restaurant in the hotel lobby is very modern and comfortable, and the breakfast is okay. 5. The bottled water provided by the hotel is free to take, which is generous enough. insufficient: 1. The water flow in the shower is average, which should not be reasonable. The sink is external, and the shower room is transparent. The activities of the child after falling asleep are limited; 2. The family view room I stayed in actually has no view. The platform outside the room is not a balcony, but the extension of the stairs is directly facing the road. I didn’t go out after seeing it when I checked in; 3. Although I didn't drive, it should take a little trouble to park visually. To sum up, the overall feeling is that it belongs to the standard business hotel style, and the price/performance ratio is not bad. It is a good choice for sightseeing in scenic spots based on this.

Just at the entrance of the Baxian Crossing Seascape, pet-friendly, the staff in the store are very friendly to the dogs, the service is warm, and the guests who meet are also very friendly to the dogs. If you have the opportunity to come to Penglai again, you will choose his home, the same type of reclusive, It’s much better than the reclusive Yangma Island I stayed the day before.
