It was nicely decorated and it was quiet most of the time. The place is difficult to find, right at the back of the old town in the residential area so lots of wandering about in little alleys. No one came when I called or answered the phone. Fortunately some girls came out as I was about to walk away and knew how to access the manager.
Wifi was terrible and the room felt cold and damp with paint peeling on one wall. After rain the bathroom and then the room smelt terrible. Don’t expect slippers or tissues. It didn’t help that I was charged as much as a good hotel because it was 1 days before a public holiday. Last time I was there I paid about half that for a lovely hotel.

The room is clean and spacious, the boss is warm and thoughtful, and the surrounding transportation is convenient. It takes a few minutes to walk to Geyuan and Dongguan Street, and two or three bus stops to Slender West Lake and Heyuan.
