There are several buildings (new or old) inside this big complex. We stayed in Building 3. Good: great gardens and the lake inside the complex, well-known restaurants with local cuisine. They provide mini shuttle service to different buildings and restaurants. Rooms are spacious. Staffers are friendly and helpful. Not so good: a little outdated, and the carpet needs to be replaced.

We got an upgraded family room at Block 11 (as original block 3 aircon was spoilt) and the hotel staff called us on the checkin day morning to inform us in advance. There is bathtub in toilet so mean we soak in bathtub water to relax at night after a busy day. There is free drinks in the fridge to be consumed daily.

Hotel is in excellent location, next to 瘦西湖。room is spacious and very clean. Staffs are very helpful. Guest relations officer 焦雨鑫 upgraded our room after our concern about the room location. Plan to come back with our next trip.

Appreciating front desk and door man services.
However the famous tea house inside the hotel is good, but it is not worth to line up for entering. There are many good restaurants outside .

A wonderful hotel. We got upgraded to a room in building 11, with a view over their small lake/pond. The room was spacious and everything was very clean. The whole hotel was very impressive, beautiful grounds being able to walk up to the lake.
They also made a special effort for my wife’s birthday.
Only downside is that the bed is a bit hard. But they had choices of pillow softness which was a nice addition!

I stayed in Building 18 with my kids for two days on the weekend. The hotel is very close to Slender West Lake, just a few hundred meters' walk away. The kids can feed koi and swans in the hotel, and the front desk provides free feed. For breakfast, you can check in at Quyuan Tea House, where you can try it without queuing. We had two meals at Ju Restaurant and one at Qichiba Bar, but Qichiba Bar was a disaster, so don't eat it. The food at Ju Restaurant is okay and the environment is much better. The free travel photography provided in the room was unexpectedly good. The photographer Ajun of Xiaowan Travel Photography is very responsible and I am satisfied with the finished product.
