Dengcao Inn

There is a small inn in the alley near Pishi Street in the Dongguan Historic District of Yangzhou City. It is a renovated old residential building. It is a bungalow with a rooftop. There are several small houses just inside the door. It's not difficult to find it by following the map navigation. Although the inn is small, it has basic facilities and is very clean and hygienic, especially the bathroom outside the single room. The facilities are quite new; you just have to go to the toilet outside the room door, so it's not a big problem. The owner of the inn has set the check-in procedure to include WeChat contact and a password box to get the key and room card, which is convenient, but I am a little nervous about the check-out process 😉 Generally speaking, it is a good value for money in this area, and you can experience life in an old house in a village in the city...

來揚州一定要體驗“老揚州”的生活，這裏一定是最好的選擇。 這是間位於皮市街燈草行的小院子，彎彎繞繞的小路能讓人體會到古巷的生活氣息，不刻意不造作也不會過度商業化。 客棧房間不大，但足夠兩人住下，能撫慰旅途帶來的疲憊。衞生間也收拾的乾乾淨淨，足以見每個細節的用心。 房東是個非常古道熱腸的人，幫我們寄存行李，遇到問題也會很熱情地幫我們解答，讓這次旅行有了非常棒的回憶。

非常好，老闆也很有文采，我們交流了很多。在小巷子裏很有人情味～離皮市街很近，不過不是特別好找，要鑽一鑽小巷子，但是能體會老揚州的生活，值得來～
