A very atmospheric modern hotel on the banks of a quiet river. Since the hotel is small, it is quiet and cozy. The friendly staff provided us with a taxi transfer from the train station, and sincerely welcomed us as welcome guests. The rooms are modernly equipped with everything you need. Nice, very comfortable beds. Scenic view of the mountain from the window added to our excellent impression of the hotel. For this location is strongly recommended.

Extremely satisfied! This is hands down the best B&B in Xingping Ancient Town. The rooms are spotlessly clean and equipped with smart amenities. The hostess was incredibly warm and welcoming, even accompanying us to experience cormorant fishing. You absolutely *must* try the meals prepared by the B&B's cook; they are incredibly delicious, and most importantly, everything is prepared hygienically. On our first day, we didn't realize the B&B offered meals, and after eating out, we unfortunately suffered from food poisoning upon returning. The thoughtful hostess even prepared millet porridge for us. The next day, we wisely decided to eat all our meals at the B&B. Overall, this B&B was a major highlight of our trip. We liked it so much we even extended our stay for an extra night.

During my trip to Yangshuo, I was deeply moved by the meticulously renovated B&B, Luosu Yunlu, an old house. The designer's ingenious design creates a clear and fluid division of functional areas, creating a unique and tranquil atmosphere amidst the bustling Yangshuo scene, reminiscent of the ”return to the countryside” described in Tao Yuanming's poems. Opening the door to Yunlu, a rustic atmosphere greets you. The room lock deliberately retains a traditional key design. The wooden stick doorplate gently clinks against the heavy key, creating a crisp and pleasant tinkling sound. This unique ”check-in concerto” instantly draws you into the rhythm of slow living. The meticulous attention to detail is evident, even down to the meticulously selected toiletries. A soft-bristled toothbrush paired with a gentle, non-irritating toothpaste caress every subtle touch. Stepping into the room, I was pleasantly surprised. The space is meticulously minimalist, stripped of all superfluous items, leaving only the essentials. Putting aside the distractions of screens, it's like stepping back into the simpler days of our grandparents, where focusing on just a few tasks a day brought peace of mind and body. Of course, if you're seeking the solace of light and shadow, don't worry! The expansive terrace serves as a natural open-air studio, offering a unique experience of watching movies under the stars. The beauty of Yunlu goes far beyond the guest rooms. After enjoying a hearty breakfast or afternoon tea, the joy of exploration begins. The meticulously maintained Chinese-style courtyard, with its changing scenery at every step, is ideal for strolling, meditating, or photographing still lifes. Even more captivating is the expansive, boundless lawn just beyond the courtyard. Spreading green and vibrant, it's a haven for running, laughing, rolling around, and unleashing pure joy. It's a perfect spot for families, where children can run wild. For group gatherings or company-run events, it's the perfect setting for picnics, fun games, or simply sitting and chatting. I also loved the design of the clearwater swimming pool, its light hues exuding a vibrant atmosphere. Leaning by the edge, listening to the gentle gurgling of the water and gazing out at the rolling hills beneath the clear sky, my body and soul felt cleansed by the mountain breeze. The nights are equally beautiful. Walking across the green lawn, I ascend to the exclusive observatory. Far from light pollution, as dusk falls, a sky filled with stars shimmers like diamonds, creating a truly romantic atmosphere. It's the perfect spot for family stargazing or a night out with friends or groups. The attentive butler service is exceptional, reflected not only in the exquisite meals but also in fostering a sense of belonging and tranquility, a place where ”the entire garden is a place of home.” Here, bustle is a shared joy, while tranquility is a rich gift to be enjoyed alone. Staying in the Cloud House, within a small space, I embody the simplicity of grandeur. I deeply experienced the leisurely mood of ”living in the human world, yet free from the clamor of traffic.” This return and satisfaction away from the hustle and bustle is destined to become my spiritual home (Staycation) that I long for and am willing to visit again and again.

Environment: Quiet and tranquil, unique, with a small bridge and flowing water in the courtyard The smell of wooden furniture in the house makes people feel at ease, just like returning home. Hygiene: supplies are clean and tidy Service: The boss will contact you in advance about the arrival time, and can pick you up or drop you off. Breakfast is a combination of whole grains + Guilin rice noodles. When I heard the foreign friends staying in the hotel say Chinese potato, I realized that it refers to sweet potato 🍠 The room has a pleasant view and fresh air. It is a 5-minute walk to the Huangbu Reflection on the Li River. This is a B&B I would like to stay in again, thank you boss!

We arrived at this hotel, and thought it was very cheap, so we had not so high expectations. The staff were very helpfull and very good at using translations, because they dis not speak english. The room was amazing, it looked brand new. The cleaning was good, and it was nice that there were new bottles of water every day. There was also afternoon tea every day for free. The pool was small but clean, and we enjoyed it, but it would have been nice with a sunbed. There was also a gym, which was nice, but could be nice with a bike or simular. We had a very pleasant stay and will recommend it to everybody.

You won’t find a kinder and helpful hotel owner! My mom and I were impressed by how friendly and willing to help us he was. He also cooks a really good breakfast. The rooms have magnificent views on the Li river and the location is great to walk by the beautiful scenery, and a few minutes from the old center with all the restaurants and cafes. I highly recommend this home stay!

This hotel truly has a heart. From the moment we booked, they proactively shared check-in information and local travel guides, making us feel right at home the moment we arrived. I suspect the owner is a meticulous perfectionist with incredibly high standards. Every single detail, from disinfectant wipes and a laundry basin in the bathroom to thoughtful reminders and even sun protection essentials for going out, showcased their immense care and dedication. The owner must have perfected the sleeping temperature after countless trials; with the AC on and covered by the duvet, it was just right. The bed felt like sleeping on clouds. Each evening after a day of sightseeing, we were treated to red bean and ginger soup. With the stunning scenery outside and soothing aromas wafting through the interior, it created an incredibly serene atmosphere, extremely beneficial for those struggling with insomnia. Given that Yangshuo's attractions are quite spread out, the hotel's location wasn't an issue for me. You'll need to take taxis everywhere anyway, and with good planning, you can avoid any unnecessary detours. For families with children, the Li River is right outside the doorstep, and activities like fishing for shrimp are more than enough to keep the little ones happy.
