Yangshuo Gegeshu Hotel (Yangshuo Yulonghe Scenic Area) Reviews

We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights in total and we found it a great gateway from the others spots in the area which are way too touristy. Giggling tree might not have the best views from to room but you would be certainly satisfied with the cost and friendly atmosphere of the whole place. Me and my friends found it very relaxing and would recommend it again to anyone who wants to stay in Yangshuo.

The hotel was located in an ideal place to visit many of the tourist locations. The room was fine for my purpose and the shower was great. - a large walk in shower. It was a real bonus to have a swimming pool on the site and all the staff were very friendly

It’s hard to describe how amazing our stay at the giggling tree was. The staff is the best and very helpful, the hotel itself is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the restaurant serves good food. A must stay when you are planning to visit the area! Alice, curry and all the others: thank you so much for everything! We can’t wait to visit you again.

Amazing place with kindest people! Absolutely loved Yangshuo and mainly because of people and how small and convenient the place is! Definitely will be back ❤️ Rooms are great, food and coffee are nice! Tried the noodles for breakfast 🙌🏼

I liked the hotel building and the interior so much that I regretted making a reservation only for one night. When I stayed there, I understood why Westerners prefer this hotel. All the staff were kind, the food was delicious, and the menu was diverse. If I ever come back to Yangsu-oh, I would definitely like to stay. And personally, I would like to thank Alice (?) who was a fluent English employee who helped me give first aid when my husband fell and got injured.

Very nice Homestay. The area is good, we can rent bike and book tickets to visit at the hotel.

Such a wonderful little place in a great location out of the town and near the river. They were very helpful in booking transport to and from the airport as well as a climbing trip for us. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely hotel with confortable rooms and friendly staff. We enjoyed the swimming pool and the good food, highly recommend and would go again !

My friends and I (all in our em30’s with no children) stayed over the October golden week holiday and had a pleasant experience. The food is delicious and their imported wine selection is extensive. The pool area could do with some TLC, as could the rooms. However, the pool at their sister hotel, a short bike ride away was lovely (see pictures). The walls are also very thin and as a result, was quite noisy at times. The hotel is not in the main town and there isn’t much near by, so keep this in mind when booking. We had a great time, overall, and I would stay here again.

Great location and surroundings with some good food options. Unfortunately, when they are busy the service suffers a lot. I wouldn’t stay again.

The Food is great, the location beautiful and great service. We had a fantastic stay. Just be sure to inquire regarding some of the day tours that are offered. About what is specifically included in the tour and how long it is. We had a little miscommunication, but Giggling Tree reacted fairly and were able to get us a reduc. ed price after a tour fell flat of what was offered. Highly recommend this place to stay especially for families😁
