We absolutely loved this hotel! The location was great, the staff were friendly and could speak English, and the food at the hotel was amazing. This was one of our best experiences in China. I would recommend this place to anyone. The villa/farmhouse we stayed in is perfect for big groups. The villa/farmhouse has 5 big bedrooms, each with its own bathroom with a shower and western toilet. The food at the hotel was brilliant! The courtyard in front was lovely in the mornings for breakfast, and the restaurant on the roof was amazing in the evening, looking over the mountains. We loved it, will definitely be back there soon! Thank you for an amazing stay and friendly hospitality.

Truthfully, I am having time finding words, and that's unusual for me. I must admit I was disappointed when Yangshuo Mountain Retreat cancelled my booking because of a wedding that had booked the place, but the photos of the garden sold me. I've been to Yangshuo perhaps five times over the last 10 years, and have stayed in every kind of place there-from a cheap hostel to the boutique rooms but my dream was to stay at YMR, where I always stop and have a whiskey by the river. When we pulled into Liqui Town, I realized I had not explored this part of the valley and was disoriented. But then the staff greeted us, carried in our bags, gave us tea, peanuts, and oranges, and set to taking care of our every need. They were this way with us from start to finish-sending us off with a bag of fresh mandarin oranges and hugs-and a promise to send an invoice for our remaining expenses-which we still have not gotten! Apart from the wonder of just those details, the food was exquisite, our farmhouse room was stylish and simple yet so thoroughly Chinese-in the most real and unassuming way. It was an honor and a pleasure to sip tea in the farmhouse and look at the many woodcut posters and Chinese propaganda songs on the walls while staring up from the tea table to the simply elegant clay tile roof resting on the original beams, feeling the mud bricks breathe out their history silently under a soft rain and the early crows of the neighborhood roosters. I If one is quiet and still, I believe this little gem will give up her secrets, her history, and the story and true feeling of old-time village life amongst the stunning splatters of karst and water. We enjoyed watching the staff use the traditional well to clean up around the property, and the garden did not disappoint. Truly magical and filled with bonsai that some local master has been enjoying for many years. The food was excellent. We spoke with some Chinese tourists on the way out who were very disappointed with the local version of beer fish, ah but ours was exquisite, along with the drinks and italian food. It's very rare to find this mix of culture, authenticity, generosity, and good service all wrapped into a package that does nearly guarantee the fulfillment of the motto the girls wear on their shirts, "be inspired...." I would recommend this to anyone. 谢谢你们！

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They organized day trips and other activities for us as well as our transportation. The menu offers a variety of different cuisines and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Overall, a wonderful place to stay.

Very good location with a view on the moon hill and only 20 min cycling from bustling Yangshuo centre. During the day, it might be busy with day trippers but it gets very quiet in the evening. Excellent service and very friendly staff. The menu offers also western breakfast and coffee. The terrace on top of the hotel is a perfect place for working away from home. Commendable was the exceptional care and attention given to sustainability in the construction and the fittings of the hotel and another thing surprised us: bicycles were included and they were very well maintained: oiled, cleaned and in prime condition, nothing fancy but all 4 of us enjoyed the smooth rides in the surrounding mountains.

The decoration style is simple and original, and you will feel a natural sense of intimacy the moment you walk in. I am used to living in reinforced concrete cities, and it feels good to revisit the original ecological living environment. The enthusiastic and attentive service and the beautiful surrounding scenery make the daily busy state suddenly relax. Quiet night, good night's sleep😊

The B&B is very nice, with a beautiful environment and a small courtyard. The whole house has a faint scent of sandalwood. The proprietress and the young ladies and aunts are all very welcoming. They gave us an embroidered bag before we left. The food was also delicious!

At first, I chose because its style was consistent with what I liked, but by the time I stepped in the door The warm and welcoming reception I felt cannot be compared to other hotels. Although he is not gorgeous, his human touch is very real; although he is not in a busy street, he is under the Moon Mountain. The food I eat here is both Chinese and Western. The most important thing is that it can satisfy my whole family. It is really convenient and delicious. If I hadn't already decided on my trip to Liuzhou before arriving in Yangshuo, I would definitely have stayed for one or two more days; next time I come to Yangshuo, I must stay at Tingyue Tower.

The distance from the Yangshuo official dedicated shuttle bus station for rafting, which is closest to the B&B, is rather awkward, just 2 kilometers. It is difficult to walk and troublesome to take a taxi.

The family is vegetarian, so the kitchen also makes vegetarian soup noodles and freshly squeezed orange juice.
