Bixi Hotel (Xingping Ancient Town Lijiang Branch)

Hotel provided free pickup and drop off from Yangsuo when informed the staff in advance by WeChat. The staffs are all excellent to provide all necessary travel information through WeChat (they are unable to communicate in English.

The overall stay was not terrible. The floor did not seem like it had been cleaned well beforehand. There were dirt stains and hair. The room also had an almost unbearable smell of smoking. Not sure if it’s from previous guests or from the one window that was already open when I arrived. The front desk seems overall capable but unsure if they can handle non English speaking guests well (translator apps only). The bus to/from station is a nice service. Great location on what seems to be a main street.

Very nice brand new hotel centrally located with a great view. Just didn't like the disposable towels.

Room had good size , hotel well located in xinping ancient city , personnel was kind and hotel offered pick up and drop off at the rail station of Yangshuo , only negative is that room was not cleaned , bed not made , during our stay and we have to ask for new towels , because they were neither changed

Incredible hotel in the heart of Xingping Ancient Town. Free transfer from the train station! One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at, with excellent value for money. The hotel is super clean, modern, and recently renovated. The reception staff speaks English, which is not something to take for granted in China—especially in a rural town. The room we chose was spectacular, with floor-to-ceiling windows and an amazing view of the mountains. Plus, the ancient town and the Li River are just a few steps from the hotel and absolutely stunning. I’d say it was an exceptional stay! Great service.
