The place is fantastic and the front desk staff is super helpful but there is a long way to go ….
There are so many things the place can improve and create an “experience” for the client who is paying decent amount of money. Here is the list -
1) waiting staff should be trained to understand the needs of the customer not appear confused if a request is made which does not fit their expection!
2) Waiting staff should be taught that plates / spoons are essential to eat food one can’t eat yogurt with chopsticks.
3) GYM does not have even one mirror.
4) gym is also used as the storage room and yoga mats are tucked some where hard to find.
5) gym machines are not good quality too light and unsafe to use - it’s better just to have free weights and yoga equipment.
Other than this the experience was good - the lady at the reception was helpful and smart. Hope that they learn quickly else the options are plenty !!

The best thing about this trip is choosing Guanlan. I really fell in love with it at first sight!!! I stayed for two nights. The hotel is in a good location, right by the Li River, very quiet and secluded. Sunbathe during the day, have a bonfire and watch an open-air movie at night (and see the stars✨)
The shopkeeper and the housekeepers can also roast sweet potatoes, which is really cozy. The hotel's Zhulan restaurant has very good products. In addition to breakfast and afternoon tea, the main meals are also eaten in the hotel.
