Yangshuo Homestays

The stay at SYYF was one of the best hotels I’ve ever been to. The room is cozy and spacious, with gorgeous floor to ceiling windows with a great view of the mountains. It’s also a hi tech smart room with a voice controlled assistant, Xiaodu, that can control the lights and open/shut the curtains (though it only understands Chinese). There’s also a cute tea set which is great for relaxing by the window. The room is equipped with AC and heat that works great, and the lights can go from bright to a dimmer evening mode, as well as sleep. We also got complimentary sodas, extremely cozy robes and nice house shoes for lounging. The breakfast is served 8-10AM is was definitely one of the best we have experienced in China while traveling. It was robust and offered both regional and western cuisine. There is a lot of ongoing construction on the street that the property is on so be careful. It may be a bit of traffic congestion due to large machines, however the noise was not heard from our room. It might be challenging for Didi drivers to access but there are also e-scooters for rent for about 30 yuan per day. The hotel is surrounded by mountains which are lit up at night for a gorgeous landscape at any time. The welcome photoshoot was fun, with traditional clothes you can borrow. We spent about 30-45 minutes using different props across 3 locations on the property, and got tons of photos that we loved. The staff is so accommodating and responsive and they helped with every little question. The bring lots of thoughtful small pleasantries which added a special touch and made us feel very cherished. They also offered a free shuttle for our departure ride to the train station at the end of our stay. We came in early January and the weather was chilly at night and pleasant during the day. With a jacket it’s not too bad and on a sunny day it’s pleasant with a cool breeze. We had a massage too, which you can order to your room or go to the spa which is close, and they provide shuttle service. The massage was good but a bit pricey even with the 50% off. There are less expensive places in the town not too far away. West street is a popular tourist spot which is also close, about 15-20 minutes away by e-scooter. There’s plenty of shopping, restaurants and a little night life, but we didn’t go out during this trip. 10/10 experience and I would definitely recommend staying here! I can’t imagine staying anywhere else when I come back to Yangshuo, and this place makes you REALLY want to come back!

I came to Yangshuo a few years ago, so I only stayed for a day this time. The hotel environment is very good, with a large swimming pool at the door, Yulong River outside, bamboo rafts passing by during the day, and mountains in front, which is nice for taking pictures. The location is OK, not in the center of the town, there are no restaurants nearby, but the store provides free pick-up and drop-off in the main town twice, which is relatively friendly for friends who go out to play bamboo rafting. You can also order food in the hotel. It just needs to be cooked table by table, and you need to make reservations in advance if you want to eat. The hotel provides afternoon tea in the afternoon and sweet soup in the evening. For breakfast, it is a set meal, drinks and eggs need to be made on the spot, there are Guangxi-style Guilin rice noodles, the appearance is OK, if there are more side dishes, it will be better, there are too many carbohydrate staples, there is a feeling of carbohydrates with carbohydrates.

We have a great stay. The hotel was set up to provide the best experience for a family who wants to enjoy the beautiful Yangshuo area. On the first floor, you have a gorgeous lobby and a play area for the children. To accommodate the wondering minds of the kids, the hotel provided multiple acres of lawn for the kids to run around and enjoy. Then there are the bunnies. They are cute and their enclosure is cleaned daily. The room we had had a ball pit and an indoor tent for my girls to play in and they put them into good use for sure. On the fourth floor is the laundry. You will only see washers but they have the hanging type driers to dry your clothes in addition to normal hangers. The top floor features a small restaurant with a spectacular view of the Yulong River and Karst features behind it. The food is good and easily tastier than most of the street side restaurants out there and features dishes common and famous to the area, we had the beer fish and the stir fried mushrooms. It was savory and priced well below what they charge on West Street. On our third day, we went out and rented electric scooters around the river and for 35km we went around the hills and through villages. The hotel staff, 小张&小麦, welcomed us with warm smiles and drove us to west street for some dinner and shopping. What an awesome trip, this hotel was an highlight!

This B&B was beyond my expectations. First, I didn't expect that at such a cheap price, the room facilities were very complete and the service was very good, and it was very clean. The room was also built against the mountain, and the window of Tianshuo Eye was beautiful. Unfortunately, it rained this time and I didn't experience the free Hanfu rental, and I couldn't take beautiful photos. There were snacks and fruits in the afternoon, desserts in the evening, and you could play with them. The emotional value was very good. In addition, the location is very convenient. It is 3 minutes away from Gongnong Bridge, and many attractions around can be reached by walking. The location is really convenient. Although there are few varieties of breakfast, the millet porridge is very fragrant, and the rice noodles taste very good.

Location is inside an alley and not easy to find although West Street is only 100m away. Blazing loudspeakers noise from busy West Street can be heard at night. Its a small 4 storey hotel with only 12 rooms and no elevator. The front reception ladies are approachable and friendly.

Amazing hotel with a heartbreaking view. The location is super good, in the countryside but close to a few restaurants, shops, electrical bike rent, and some scenic spots but also at 10/15 min driving from yangshuo city. The room was huge, as was the bathroom as well, the bed was super comfortable and the bathtub with the view as the balcony was priceless. The staff is really nice and they speak English so the communication was easy. Breakfast with traditional guilin noodles was also super good, highly recommended

The scenery outside the window is shown in Figure 1, which is a direct copy of the original film. The only flaw is that there are several residential construction sites in the middle of the scene. The room has good hygiene details and good sealing. No mosquitoes were found. The location is excellent. It takes 5 to 10 minutes to walk to Liu Sanjie. You can order food in the B&B, and the taste is normal home-cooked. It has no merits or faults. It is clean and hygienic, and the price is reasonable. It is the most satisfactory B&B I have stayed in in the past two years!

I came here for this room and was not disappointed. It was a really great room. It was the most beautiful, satisfying and reluctant room I have ever stayed in. The boss is really tasteful and the room design is amazing. The service is also impeccable. The lady modestly said that her photography skills were not good, but she was very satisfied with the photos she took. She was very patient to help find the angles to take photos. She helped take photos twice in the afternoon and the next morning. There was no filter and the original photos were straight out. It was really considerate and heartwarming. I have stayed in many hotels and B&Bs, but I almost never comment on them because the environment and services of general hotels and B&Bs are unsatisfactory. It is rare for a B&B like this one to be good in all aspects. I hope it will continue to be so!

Outstanding, even though we were given room at level two as the hotel is fully booked due to many room requests for extended stay in this property (民宿). The room’s view is spectacular, we would just sit by the window and admire the view at all time. There were two time of power outages during the day time of our stay (due to local authorities upgrading work) but it don’t affect us much, as we were out for sightseeing during the day time. The staff are extremely friendly, and we in particular appreciate the service of xiao Yu (小余）, he is very patient in explaining to us how to use the electronic appliance in the room and answer to all our questions with a lovely smile. If we have more time, we would extend our stay too. If 5 is full mark, we would rate 6!

The couple running the business here along with all the other staff were super friendly :) best decision made in yangshuo was choosing this accommodation View was breathtaking with a bathtub for you to enjoy the picturesque scenery and our 1 year old son loved the room too as there was a lot of space for him to roam around! One notable moment was when we were running late for one of the attractions purchased from them, they sent us there themselves! Had a lot of great chats with the boss too Lastly, their restaurant has good tasting dishes with fairly priced food! We stayed 3 nights and ate there for all 3 nights :) thank you for the great stay!
