Perfect location to stay in Pan Pacific Yangon For me, Not the first time i had a great review for this hotel. I had been here several times as it's really the best hotel. Hotel room is cleanliness and comfy bed. And I was really enjoyed buffet breakfast, also I love to sit the bar to chill with my love one. All staff were very nice and helpful. Hotel besides really good locations. You will see a lovely Church from swimming pool and nice to relaxing. Highly recommended to all business and vacation travelers. HOTEL BALMI, After staying with 4 of my family in the HOTEL BALMI for 20 days, my experience in this hotel will not disappear in my life time memories. The rooms are huge, high security for the family, spotless clean, high tech light switch, amazing temperature control (even water for shower), very convenient to access to China Town and with fantastic house keeping team. My favourite activity was having a drink & delicious foods and looking the stunning sun set river view from roof top restaurant that is smashing. On the roof top restaurant, Opposite of the river view, I can even see the Shwe Dagon Pagoda (the greatest landmark of Myanmar), WHAT A GOOD LOCATION IS. All the staff are well trained professional in their rows, very polite and willing to provide their relevant services to the guests at anytime even in the 2:00am. My favourite staff are Patrick (F&B Supervisor) Shine Ko Ko (F&B Captain) Zin Ko Khant (F&B Service) Tin Win Aung (Bartender) Thura Maung ( Operation Manager) Than Naing Lin (Bell Boy) Soe Aung (Night Security) Then, I celebrated my 43rd birthday party at the HOTEL BALMI roof top restaurant. All the decorations, live music, foods & drinks managed by restaurant manager Patrick & team. My birthday party was my best party I have ever had. All my family really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We strongly recommend to stay at HOTEL BALMI whatever the reason in Yangon, Myanmar.

I didn't have high hopes for this hotel, but the photos and rating seemed good. I should have been more cautious and read the reviews more carefully. First, there is no elevator. My fault for not checking that, so no negative rating for this. The hotel has 8 floors so you may have to climb 8 stories to your room. The biggest shock factor was how old and beat up the rooms were. The website pictures look nice but are either photoshopped or so old that they no longer are accurate. The walls are dirty and covered in the blood of many dead mosquitoes. The bathrooms used to have white grout, but now are black with mildew. -2 rating for horribly accurate pictures. Second, the hotel does nothing for mosquito control. I stayed in multiple hotels throughout Myanmar and every hotel was proactive at controlling the mosquitoes. This place does nothing and the rooms were filled with them. We got bit multiple times during the night. -1 rating for mosquito control. We got the entire floor (two rooms), and one of the rooms smelled of cigarette smoke. -1 rating for that. +1 rating as the staff seemed nice, the breakfast was decent, and location was good. That adds up to a +2 rating. I would not recommend this place at all.

After having a busy time at work, it is just right to reward me. And, what is the perfect way of doing this is to treat myself to a staycation at ParkRoyal Hotel. The hotel is 5/5 in cleanliness, budget, location, and, most significantly, THE STAFF. The Staff has made my staycation a relaxing and perfect experience. I couldn't say anything negative because they went beyond my expectations as someone who, most of the time, stays in a hotel. The Staff, namely Theint Theint, Thazin, and Zaw of the Reception, Gi Gi of the Lobby Cafe, Alex and Thet Tun of the Concierge, Le Le Win of the Spice Restaurant, and Nanda of the Housekeeping were superbly amazing people who were willing to assist me. On top of that, I have to give credit to Ms. Khin, the reception manager. She was a rockstar in service. Her assistance, from my emails to the check-in, was very smooth. Thank you so much, guys! You are all fantastic hotel staff. Kudos to you! Of course, I cannot ignore that the breakfast was good, the pool was perfect for taking a plunge, and the fitness center was my favorite. Overall, I will keep returning to this hotel because ParkRoyal is Perfect for a Staycation! Thank you, ParkRoyal!

Hotel isn’t very expensive because room rate starts at 55,000 only and rooms are fully equipped with amenities as well as a rooftop bar with 360 view of the city. Reception was friendly and offered to help with bags. But receptionists do get very overwhelmed with the huge amount of guests checking in. I was lucky that there were only three people checking in in front of me so the wait wasn’t that long. Breakfast was good for the price of the hotel even comes with pastry. Wish the hotel was less full during weekends and holidays as rooms are hard to come by then. Maybe the hotel should raise the rates.

My family was in Wyndham to celebrate our son’s first birthday. We asked the staff to help us with the decorations if possible and they did help us with all the decorations as much as they could. Shortly after, the hotel staff ran the door bell and surprised my family with a complimentary cake for our son. The 4 staff who came to surprise us Yee Mon Kyaw, May, Phillis,Myint Myint, my family would like to sincerely thank you all for your effort and kindness. We would definitely stay here more often in the future.

This hotel seemed brand new. We stayed in a Junior Suite. Everything was sparkling clean, the blue velvet couches in the room looked like no one had sat on them before. Very gutsy of the designer to choose this color/material combination for couches in a hotel room. I’m afraid it’ll take one lousy guest and they won’t look as new anymore :-P Anyway, I enjoyed the elegance of the place through and through.. and for this price! You won’t find anywhere else in the world. I’d say this is Four Seasons quality, for which I’m used to paying 3-4 times more. The air-conditioning is superb. It keeps the temperature and air circulation exactly how you want it without the noise. In too many hotel rooms the AC blows on your face when you’re sleeping, not this one. You don’t see it or hear it, yet it’s chill and effective, which is exactly how you want it. The shower pressure is good, and the temperature is easy to navigate. I prefer the handheld that can be placed on a specific level on the wall, I find rain showers too wasteful, nevertheless it’s there. The toiletries are plentiful and conveniently come in pump containers. There’s shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion, and a soap bar. The room slippers are comfortable and pillowy, the bathrobes are light cotton fabric. Drinking water is complimentary, and provided in four 500ml glass bottles, replenished daily. There’s a small gym right by the spa, but it has all the essentials: 2 treadmills, a stationary bike, an elliptical trainer, a mat, and a dumbbell set starting at 2kg going to 20kg. I was the only one there all three times that I used it. The breakfast portion is on the smaller size. If you order the eggs Benedict it comes with 2 small eggs on white toast, and small pieces of smoked salmon. The sides include a jar of fruit salad, yogurt, and a bread basket. The cappuccino is really good. If you have a reason to visit Yangon, this is a must-stay.

We travel across Burma. During our stay in Yangon we got to the opening of a hotel restaurant. Unfortunately, because of this festive day we couldn't have had a full lunch, but the hotel staff would have taken care of us so we wouldn't be hungry. We were frequented several times with super snacks free of charge so that we ate to satisfaction . We also received wonderful gifts : hats , towels and shopping bags. We thank the hotel manager and his staff for taking care of us so much.The restaurant is worth the recommendation. It is worth visiting.

Stayed at this hotel for more than two months and was very satisfied. The staff service is very good, especially the Miss Phyo Ei San at the front desk, who is kind and very pleasant to get along with. The hotel is located in the city center, you can see the famous attractions Shwedagon Pagoda, and it is very convenient to eat and shop around. Both security and convenience are very good. I will choose this hotel again next time I go to Yangon.

The variety of breakfast is quite varied, but the taste is not suitable for us. The room should not be extra bed. Because the hotel is a boat remodeling, children should like it. Hotel location is not bad. A taxi to a city center attraction will cost you ten yuan. There is a lot of parking, but every time you go in and out, you have to give it. More than one yuan. Entry fee.
