During my travels across 16 countries and living in two, I have to say that Pan Pacific Yangon stands out as the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Its location is ideal, conveniently connected to a mid-sized shopping mall, and the in-room amenities and facilities are top-notch. Unlike some “lazy” five-star hotels, the gym, spa, and swimming pool are exceptionally well-maintained and managed. The breakfast service was a real highlight – each day offered new and varied dishes, and despite having breakfast there four times, I never got bored. However, what truly set this experience apart for me was the people. The staff were always smiling, patient, and consistently went out of their way to help me, making the stay all the more enjoyable. I believe this speaks not only to the hotel’s brand culture but also to the warm and optimistic nature of the Myanmar people themselves. Their kindness left a lasting impression on me. To everyone at Pan Pacific Yangon, I sincerely wish you all the best and hope you stay safe during these challenging times. I’m already looking forward to my next visit, where I can say “Mingalaba” once more!

After having a busy time at work, it is just right to reward me. And, what is the perfect way of doing this is to treat myself to a staycation at ParkRoyal Hotel. The hotel is 5/5 in cleanliness, budget, location, and, most significantly, THE STAFF. The Staff has made my staycation a relaxing and perfect experience. I couldn't say anything negative because they went beyond my expectations as someone who, most of the time, stays in a hotel. The Staff, namely Theint Theint, Thazin, and Zaw of the Reception, Gi Gi of the Lobby Cafe, Alex and Thet Tun of the Concierge, Le Le Win of the Spice Restaurant, and Nanda of the Housekeeping were superbly amazing people who were willing to assist me. On top of that, I have to give credit to Ms. Khin, the reception manager. She was a rockstar in service. Her assistance, from my emails to the check-in, was very smooth. Thank you so much, guys! You are all fantastic hotel staff. Kudos to you! Of course, I cannot ignore that the breakfast was good, the pool was perfect for taking a plunge, and the fitness center was my favorite. Overall, I will keep returning to this hotel because ParkRoyal is Perfect for a Staycation! Thank you, ParkRoyal!

This hotel seemed brand new. We stayed in a Junior Suite. Everything was sparkling clean, the blue velvet couches in the room looked like no one had sat on them before. Very gutsy of the designer to choose this color/material combination for couches in a hotel room. I’m afraid it’ll take one lousy guest and they won’t look as new anymore :-P Anyway, I enjoyed the elegance of the place through and through.. and for this price! You won’t find anywhere else in the world. I’d say this is Four Seasons quality, for which I’m used to paying 3-4 times more. The air-conditioning is superb. It keeps the temperature and air circulation exactly how you want it without the noise. In too many hotel rooms the AC blows on your face when you’re sleeping, not this one. You don’t see it or hear it, yet it’s chill and effective, which is exactly how you want it. The shower pressure is good, and the temperature is easy to navigate. I prefer the handheld that can be placed on a specific level on the wall, I find rain showers too wasteful, nevertheless it’s there. The toiletries are plentiful and conveniently come in pump containers. There’s shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion, and a soap bar. The room slippers are comfortable and pillowy, the bathrobes are light cotton fabric. Drinking water is complimentary, and provided in four 500ml glass bottles, replenished daily. There’s a small gym right by the spa, but it has all the essentials: 2 treadmills, a stationary bike, an elliptical trainer, a mat, and a dumbbell set starting at 2kg going to 20kg. I was the only one there all three times that I used it. The breakfast portion is on the smaller size. If you order the eggs Benedict it comes with 2 small eggs on white toast, and small pieces of smoked salmon. The sides include a jar of fruit salad, yogurt, and a bread basket. The cappuccino is really good. If you have a reason to visit Yangon, this is a must-stay.

Everything was so satisfying. Good location with easy access to market and plenty of dining options nearby. The hotel restaurant was very as well. o had dinner there every nights during my stay. The services were flawless from very attentive staffs.

Excellent breakfast & so much variety to choose & all are delicious. Staffs are very helpful & all are sweet smiles & big heart . I arrived 8 am & they are allowed to check in also . I will keep on coming & thanks for the perfect stay in Yangon . Location is very near by Chinatown & can enjoy a lot of street foods . Steam and sauna also can use at hotel . Thanks for all the staffs for the great hospitality. I will be back again .My favorite spot in Yangon 😍

This is a newly opened hotel, so the facilities are clean and up-to-date. All rooms are large in size, so you can feel very relaxed. It's a convenient location to go anywhere. The food was also a passing grade. As the number of guests increases, the number of items will likely increase. I felt a strong desire from the staff to ”make this hotel a better hotel from now on.” Another thing I recommend is the view from the pool. You can see both Shwedagon Pagoda and Yangon River. There's no pool where you can see both. Shwedagon Pagoda and the Yangon River illuminated by the setting sun are spectacular. It was a very satisfying hotel. The manager, Mr. James, took great care of me during my stay. thank you very much.

It is still very safe in the sun. The hotel is located in Chinatown. The location is very good. It is very close to the attractions. Three people booked online. Other hotels need to book two rooms. It was originally written that there were two breakfasts, and the third person did not increase the price for breakfast. Although the breakfast is simple, it is also a feature of Myanmar. For Myanmar's economic conditions, his location is very good value for money. I will stay here next time.

I stayed for 4 nights. The downtown location makes it convenient for sightseeing and dining. Although Yangon experiences frequent power outages, the hotel has its own generator, so there are no inconveniences with air conditioning or refrigerators. The free buffet breakfast at the rooftop restaurant had a wide variety of options and overlooked Yangon city, which was very satisfying. I think the value for money is good for a hotel in this price range. This time I booked through Agoda, but it would be much cheaper to book directly on site. The exchange rate applied to international credit cards is the government-set rate of MMK2,100/US$, which makes it feel a bit expensive. At money changers downtown, you can exchange both JPY and US$ at the market rate, so it's a good deal.

HOTEL BALMI, After staying with 4 of my family in the HOTEL BALMI for 20 days, my experience in this hotel will not disappear in my life time memories. The rooms are huge, high security for the family, spotless clean, high tech light switch, amazing temperature control (even water for shower), very convenient to access to China Town and with fantastic house keeping team. My favourite activity was having a drink & delicious foods and looking the stunning sun set river view from roof top restaurant that is smashing. On the roof top restaurant, Opposite of the river view, I can even see the Shwe Dagon Pagoda (the greatest landmark of Myanmar), WHAT A GOOD LOCATION IS. All the staff are well trained professional in their rows, very polite and willing to provide their relevant services to the guests at anytime even in the 2:00am. My favourite staff are Patrick (F&B Supervisor) Shine Ko Ko (F&B Captain) Zin Ko Khant (F&B Service) Tin Win Aung (Bartender) Thura Maung ( Operation Manager) Than Naing Lin (Bell Boy) Soe Aung (Night Security) Then, I celebrated my 43rd birthday party at the HOTEL BALMI roof top restaurant. All the decorations, live music, foods & drinks managed by restaurant manager Patrick & team. My birthday party was my best party I have ever had. All my family really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We strongly recommend to stay at HOTEL BALMI whatever the reason in Yangon, Myanmar.
