Amazing stay at this hotel. Although I only stayed for a night, I had the best experience ever. 1) I was early, reached at 0930. The hotel offered me early check in at no cost! I was shocked. Other hotels always charged even if the room is available. How generous! 2) From front desk to cashier, to restaurant and door man, everyone was all smiles and speaks good English. Genuine smiles and sincerity made me feel so welcome and at home 3) The restaurant staff was very attentive and he speaks good English too and was checking if I needed a coffee or an egg. It wasn't what he said but how he said it 4) The door man is a senior uncle..He is always greeting me with very warm smile. Last night I got back to the hotel at 8.30pn and now at 7am, he is on duty again! I must give him a tip when I depart. 5) The location is fantastic. Near to Shwedagon pagoda and the National Museum. There is also a yummy BBQ restaurant next door, Mr Cow. The room is decent and worth the price. If you don't need a 5-hotel, looking for budget friendly, don't mind it is a little old yet a great experience, come here. I am a very happy guest

I stayed here for 1 night, received the room I saw. Shwedagon Pagoda view It's a nice, clean room, comfortable bed, clean, good service staff. Breakfast was delicious and there was a wide selection of food. Recommend this hotel. If there is a chance to go back and stay again.

Hotel isn’t very expensive because room rate starts at 55,000 only and rooms are fully equipped with amenities as well as a rooftop bar with 360 view of the city. Reception was friendly and offered to help with bags. But receptionists do get very overwhelmed with the huge amount of guests checking in. I was lucky that there were only three people checking in in front of me so the wait wasn’t that long. Breakfast was good for the price of the hotel even comes with pastry. Wish the hotel was less full during weekends and holidays as rooms are hard to come by then. Maybe the hotel should raise the rates.

The location is quiet, there are several barbecue restaurants nearby and there are live singing, you can spend a good dinner time, the hotel staff is warm and intimate, the room is clean, the bed is very good to sleep, the breakfast choice style is not much but not bad to eat, our small family lived Deluxe King Room, At this price, if you really want to pick the shortcomings, the bathroom is not separated from wet and dry, the furnishings in the room can be improved, others are acceptable, the swimming pool feels a little smaller, there is also BAR on the top floor, but there is no chance to consume, so I don’t know what the situation is. In short, thank you very much for our small family's assistance and early check-in after arriving at the hotel on the morning of the check-in.

The room is cleanest possible and has superb view, internet connection is smooth and quick, clerks are polite and attentive, breakfast is excellent and better than any other hotel in Yangon. Only one thing I didn't like is that the refridgerator is too small and already occupied with ”mini bar” stuff, so I couldn't cool down the drinks I got from the nearby supermarket in Myanmar Plaza.

The facility was clean and I felt very comfortable. The gym is large, and you can also use the sauna and jacuzzi.
The view of the courtyard and poolside from the breakfast venue made me forget that I was in Myanmar, and I was able to enjoy a relaxing time.
However, perhaps because it had just reopened or because there were few guests, the breakfast options were few and poor, and some of the items were used from the previous day and were not delicious.
I was very disappointed because the rating would be halved if the breakfast level was low in a 5-star hotel.
I hope it will be improved in the future.

I always get to hotel late this time the refig not so cool I ask staff at night time k they comes to check and they change right away at 10 pm , unlike other try to fix or ask for tomorrow ＜ I am really impress their service

Great hotel close to the airport and reasonably close to town. The hotel has shops/restaurants and easy access to both downtown and the airport. Stayed 1 night after arriving in Yangon. The hotel is very slick, well run and professional. Check in was easy and straightforward. The staff were helpful, friendly and informative. There is a bar and coffee shop serving Lavazza coffee and other guest services too. The room service menu is good and spa services are very reasonable too. The room was very clean and had a nice, modern over sized bathroom. Although breakfast starts at 6, the restaurant is functioning and fully operational by 5.45. I was leaving to catch an early flight and managed some breakfast before leaving. A big thank you to reception and the chefs/breakfast staff for being very organised. Overall a good stay in a decent hotel. Would recommend.

GGuest UserThis hotel is ideally located in a central location, near a lake. The neighborhood is safe, a lot of vegetation and calm. The hotel provides different views of the city. Quite beautiful. The staff are professional, well-trained and friendly. The hotel is clean, beautifully decorated and spacious. The rooms are comfortably and in good repair. There are many dining options and the food is delicious

GGuest UserGood old hotel with antique atmosphere and courteous service, I liked the room but got dissaponted that the bedsheets and towels are too old and not clean, and it has some more caveats.
The hotel is situated inward corner from the main street and need to call taxi every time just to get out, which is annoying if you want to go around the nearby area. Inside the hotel building there's one convenient store but the front desk never mentioned that and couldn't find it on the day of arrival. The biggest problem is there are so many noisy and dangerous street dogs nearby the hotel and they are barking at every car going in and out from the hotel, and when you try to walk back to the hotel it is really a big threat as they swarm and try to bite you even in the daytime. Those dogs are seriously damaging the hotel access and make the guests uneasy.

Lousy experience ever. No parking assist to assist your car. Very terrible housekeeping. Like a maid at home. No hotel life experience (hk). Dirty and never clean for all 3 days. Forget to throw away the old food in the oven , rotten smell come out. 078 room 100,000 kyats room was quiet old. Air con was very noisy the sleeping room. Banging pulling chairs jumping on 8 th floor. I complained to receptionist no one care. Electricity run out at 9/8/2023 mornings they didn’t run the generator for like 45 mins. Terrible terrible experience. Not recommended especially for foreigners , family and staycation. Only recommended for group and lousy groups. Sorry for HONEST RECIEW !

JJennyvanburikWe stayed 4 days in this hotel. Punctual airport pick up, check-in, getting us to the room was perfect and smooth. Super friendly staff, amazingly kind owners. We got the colonial wing with a pool view on the second floor. Well kept rooms, quiet and clean. Quality mattress and pillows, soft bed linen. Breakfast was fine with various dishes and fresh fruits. Meticulously maintained fresh seawater swimming pool, the pool staff tended to keep it clean, there was a smoothie bar by the pool. The owner has built a meditation center and we witnessed how the staff uses the meditation center daily, very impressive. Just a 10 minutes walk to many restaurants if you do not want to eat at the hotel restaurant. We enjoyed the relaxing time of two days before we flew out of the country, to our amazement we were blessed with free of charge two total free days when the owner learned that we missed our flight. We have traveled to numerous countries this is the first time that an owner personally attended and showed kindness and hospitality of this caliber. Would recommend this place to anyone who comes in or goes out of Yangon. Unforgettable experience of kindness from the management and a very professional friendly staff. So many sitting areas under the trees by the pool and by the statue of Mother Mary. Well manicured lawn, I saw 100's of Koreans taking pictures as it was a beautiful location to take pictures! We would visit this place again & again!

QQelenIt was the best hotel in Yangon where I stayed. We arrived on 29 at 11am, the room was ready and they gave us the room. Our stay there was shorter than we expect, was not the best period to travel, so next day we had to move, we finally found a flight to go back to our country. Even if I paid for a day more, the staff refound us the amount. The rooms are really better thank the pics on Booking. Big rooms (not so usual to find in Yangon), clean and elegantly furnished. On the rooftop we found the wonderful pool, the perfect place to relax ourselves, and forget a little that we had non flight to go back home. There is also the restaurant, where during the morning you can take ur breakfast, lot of choise between salty and sweet. Here u can take also the lunch or the dinner, good prices and nice food. We want to thank the staff for all course our stay here was great, if we will come back to Yangon we definitely come back to your hotel.

Zzippy55513I didn't have high hopes for this hotel, but the photos and rating seemed good. I should have been more cautious and read the reviews more carefully. First, there is no elevator. My fault for not checking that, so no negative rating for this. The hotel has 8 floors so you may have to climb 8 stories to your room. The biggest shock factor was how old and beat up the rooms were. The website pictures look nice but are either photoshopped or so old that they no longer are accurate. The walls are dirty and covered in the blood of many dead mosquitoes. The bathrooms used to have white grout, but now are black with mildew. -2 rating for horribly accurate pictures. Second, the hotel does nothing for mosquito control. I stayed in multiple hotels throughout Myanmar and every hotel was proactive at controlling the mosquitoes. This place does nothing and the rooms were filled with them. We got bit multiple times during the night. -1 rating for mosquito control. We got the entire floor (two rooms), and one of the rooms smelled of cigarette smoke. -1 rating for that. +1 rating as the staff seemed nice, the breakfast was decent, and location was good. That adds up to a +2 rating. I would not recommend this place at all.

Waking up to this iconic symbol of Myanmar's cultural heritage was an unforgettable experience. The hotel itself was a haven of comfort and luxury, with impeccable service and well-appointed rooms. Every moment spent at Espardo was a delight, and I can't wait to return for another stay with that mesmerizing view as the highlight of my trip.

SsarasZ2469XLThe hotel is very nice but not too close to the center, which always forces to take a means (taxi) to go to the center (foot is unpaid, drive as crazy and there are no pedestrian crossings ...). The rooms are clean and comfortable, the strength point is certainly the very kind, young and ready to meet any request! We were Christmas Day and all were with the Christmas hat! A quite varied restaurant with honest prices, very rich breakfast for those who love the salt breakfast, a little less for those who love the sweet.
