Let's start with the pros: The 270-degree ocean view room has a stunning view, with a large balcony directly facing the ocean. It's spacious, with two bedrooms and a living room, and you can bring your own kitchenware for cooking. The beach is also conveniently located downstairs. The cons: The room was clean, but the leather sofa and stool had a musty smell that was noticeable upon entering. The drain in one bathroom was partially blocked, and the air conditioner was dripping. When I visited, there was a typhoon in Hainan, and the scenic area closed the beach just as I was approaching Hailing Island. It wasn't windy or rainy, so I ended up staying there for two days without even touching the beach or the ocean. The scenic area responded that it was closed due to safety concerns, as strong winds could cause water to splash into the sea. However, I think the beach should be open in that situation, provided there was no wind or rain. We shouldn't impose blanket rules. Other beaches on Hailing Island were open that day. Minjie Beach is quite far from the town center. Outside of peak season, I recommend staying closer to Zhapo Town.

This time I went to Hailing Island, and everything was great. I was very satisfied with the room and the customer service was very good. I will come again next time and must give it a five-star rating. I would like to recommend a local treasure shop in Zhapo Town, Hailing Island, Xiaoqi Tangshui Shop, which is good quality and cheap. It's great.

The indoor environment was acceptable, and the balcony had a great view, facing the ocean. However, the balcony was awful to clean, with a pile of dirty clothes. I guess the cleaning lady only cleaned the indoor area, not the balcony. 😔 We stayed during peak season, and getting up from the basement level was incredibly difficult. The elevator was long and waiting, and we couldn't find the stairs. When we did find them, they were dark and flooded, so we had to wade through them to get to the second floor.

Old facilities and poor hygiene

I always stay at this hotel when I come to Hailing Island. The price/performance ratio is good. You can see the beautiful sea view from here. The beach is free before 7 am and it is relatively close. The disadvantage is that it is a bit far to walk to the beach at night.
