There are many delicious foods around. Not many restaurants were open on the third day of the ***** New Year, but the ”Huaiyang cuisine” restaurant that was open tasted very good, authentic Huaiyang cuisine, and is worth recommending.
The hotel facilities and service are thoughtful, especially the waiter on the 14th floor is considerate and warm. The hotel gym is well-equipped, well-managed, and the breakfast is rich. I will stay here again when I come to Yancheng.

It's really great. The room I stayed in also had a separate small living room. There was a beautiful street view outside the window, which was very nice. The windows in the room were also large and the floor-to-ceiling windows were very beautiful.
The soundproofing of the hotel is also very good. The pillows are really comfortable. 100% amazing.
The hotel also has intelligent services, and there will be robots delivering meals! I really love the fish soup noodles. A bowl of it in the morning is simply amazing.

Yonghe King, McDonald's, Yancheng Eight Bowls, Small Bowls and Lawson Convenience Store are all good. Its facilities and equipment do not look new but are well maintained, clean and hygienic. Especially the lady in the room has a good work attitude and good service, but I forgot her name, sorry. Worth recommending!

This year I chose to come to Yancheng for the Chinese New Year and stayed at the InterContinental Yancheng Gangfu Hotel. Every staff member in the hotel lobby was warm and courteous, making us feel at home. The beautiful lobby restaurant and rich breakfast add to the flavor of the New Year. This time I want to thank the staff of the InterContinental Hotel Hong Kong from the bottom of my heart. On the way back from the hotel, I suddenly discovered that my leather suit was missing. 首先，這家酒店的設施非常好，很新，很舒服，很方便。從房間到公共空間的設施都很好，挑不出毛病。在這裏我開始習慣上用智能設施，走進衞生間燈自動亮，喊聲小希，窗簾、燈就自動開關。如果是出差的人，還有免費的會議室隨便用。健身房、洗衣房都有，很方便。而且這家酒店特別的乾淨，每個角落都一塵不染的，總之非常好。
再來，這家店的早餐好吃，尤其是雞蛋餅，太好吃了，我連着吃了十天，每天都想問攤蛋餅的大姐有什麼訣竅。在這裏要向大姐表示感謝，給了我每天清晨的美味體驗。還有，魚湯麪也好吃😋

GG91We stayed at the hotel as a family. The check-in process was easy and
quick. Being able to check in at 9 a.m. was also great. The staff members were helpful and friendly. The room was nice and spacious.
The view is absolutely beautiful, and the area where the hotel is situated was very quiet and relaxing over the May holidays. Breakfast was lovely; there were Chinese and western food options.
Just a suggestion: with the floors of the room being dusty, it would be great if the hotel had basic cleaning equipment, especially for longer stays (I do not feel comfortable contacting the staff to clean the room, especially with the language barrier, so it would just be easy to do it myself quickly).
It would also be great if a microwave, plates, cutlery, and serving utensils could be included in rooms, especially for longer stays and for parents with children. Having rooms with a play area would also be awesome, and I would definitely pay more if the above were included.
There is also room service available from the cafe on the first floor, where drinks and sandwiches can be delivered to your room, or you can enjoy it downstairs with a great book from the library.
I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

One star for front desk service. On the day of check-in, the front desk staff said that an extra bed would be charged 200, but there was no card payment on site. Then when we left the hotel the next day, we took the initiative to tell the front desk that there was an extra bed fee. At that time, a different service staff told me seriously that you must have heard wrong. Our hotel charges 230 for an extra bed.
I said it was impossible that both my husband and I heard it wrong at the same time. I hope you can check with the person yesterday. She said that her colleague must have made a mistake yesterday. She also asked a colleague in front of us how much the extra bed in our hotel would cost. After getting the exact reply 230, he looked at us proudly, giving the impression that I didn't say it directly, but I proved to you that you were wrong. Then he said that he could freeze 230 yuan and wait until he contacted yesterday's waiter for verification before deducting the payment. If you only paid 200 yuan, the other 30 yuan would be deducted from the colleague's salary. If she said it wrong, she should be punished.
Anyway, I have never encountered this kind of situation before, and other hotels don't handle things this way. I didn't want to continue to bother with it, so I paid first.
Later, there was no reply from the hotel, and there was no so-called verification. Anyway, the words were unfounded. 1st impressions were good. Even though the staff spoke very limited English they checked me in efficiently (I do speak some Chinese but if you don't it's okay). The rooms are a good size and the big picture windows give great views over the public lake/park. the only downside was the faint aroma of stale cigarette smoke in the room but this is China and unfortunately to be expected.
The downside was the breakfast was very Chinese and though I love the cuisine here I'm not a lover of Chinese breakfast. It would have been better if the cook knew how to make fried eggs in different styles than just solid yokes and they invested in a good coffee machine. The coffee was in a flask....and was white....I didn't even try the bit I poured into a cup. The positive is Wuyue Plaza is a 10 minute stroll and has a Starbucks and MacDonalds!
I had a look at the gym and pool. Gym was 10 yuan, pool was 40. Both looked okay. The hotel grounds needed a bit of a tidy up but were okay. I couldn't find direct access into the lake/park area but then I was only there 2 nights.
The big convenience was Wuyue Plaza. The top floor was restaurants. A decent selection. Towards the back on the outside walking street was a decent little bar (Black Vine). Nice manager, 8 craft beer taps, lots of bottled beer.
Yes, I'd stay here again as it suited my purpose.

However, the small transportation cannot reach the main entrance of the hotel at present. Therefore, if you go out with a lot of things, it is recommended to bring your own suitcase or backpack. . The whole scenic area is in the style of the ancient town, so the hotel is antique. The public area of the hotel is very beautiful, and the interior of the room is also of the same style. The overall tone is warm wood color & white & water blue, giving people a very comfortable feeling. The hotel's sound insulation is OK, and the overall is very quiet. It is especially friendly to people who sleep lightly like me. Hotel service is also very good, the waiter speaks softly. I especially like the hotel cafeteria. The front desk is a very good lady. The restaurant is not big but has a wide range of varieties. There is actually thirteen fragrant crayfish for dinner. The most important thing is that all the dishes taste good, which is unexpected. The room I stayed in this time is basically the same as the publicity photo. There are two rooms and one living room, which is especially suitable for family travel. The living room is actually very large, and then there are two separate rooms, one for the first and one for each with a bathroom. Overall, I am very satisfied.

TThomas_Very nice looking hotel and helpful staff. The room is pretty big and comfortable. Just the breakfast was a little bit underwhelming, but that’s just a minor complaint. You get a very good value for your money. Would definitely stay again.
