Hotels in Baota Mountain/Wanda Plaza, Yan'an

The hotel was in a great part of town and the service was great. The breakfast was quite good. The only downside was the dryer for the laundry room was broken. It seems that many hotels buy the most inexpensive machines to be able to add laundry room to their amenities list. We are into our sixth week of travel in China and we depend on laundry rooms as an essential item not a luxury add on.

The hotel front desk lady was warm and patient. She helped me solve any problem I needed immediately. I left my things in the room. I made a phone call and the front desk specially asked Xiaopao to deliver them to me. It was really considerate. The service must be praised. There is also a little robot, which is very cute. The children are happy to see it. The room is also spacious and bright. It is comfortable to live in. There is a scenic spot nearby. It is very convenient. There is plenty of hot water. The wireless network is also fast. There are many varieties of breakfast and the taste is also good. I will choose this hotel next time

The location is very convenient, just a few minutes walk from Erdao Street Night Market and a direct bus to the train station. The Yuyi Liangpi recommended by the lady at the service desk is very delicious. The only downside is that the hotel corridors have very poor soundproofing, and even whispers can be heard.

Very satisfactory 3 nights stay at Jinze hotel during our recent visit to Yan’an. Hotel room is clean and spacious, bed is comfortable. Very strategic location at the city centre, walkable to QingLiang Hill and the famous food street. Getting a taxi or DIDI is easy. We enjoyed the breakfast served in the hotel which comes with good variety and mostly local dishes. What impressed me most is the friendly staffs who are always enthusiastic to offer help and travel advice. The hotel in-house restaurants offer delicious food that comes with very reasonable price. Not surprisingly that we had several enjoyable meals at the hotel restaurant. The hotel staff also offered us free souvenirs when we checked out. Appreciate the kind gesture very much 😁. No doubt I would recommend this hotel to anyone who will visit Yan’an.

The room smelled heavily of smoke, and it even penetrated into the quilt and pillow. I believe the quilt cover and pillowcase were new, but I could still smell the smoke. This was the first time I encountered this situation. I felt this way when I entered the first room, but it was better after I opened the window, but I found a puddle of water next to the bed. I contacted the front desk, and the service was quite good. They changed a room for us, but the door was still full of smoke. I opened the window and went out for dinner. The hotel also contacted and dealt with the smoke, but the room still smelled heavily of smoke when I returned. I could also smell the smoke on the quilt and pillow when I slept at night. It was really terrible. The room was also very poorly soundproofed. I was woken up by the guests from the next room talking in the corridor in the middle of the night, and woke up by the sound of closing the door in the morning. The experience was very poor. But the front desk service and attitude were quite good.

On the last day of the Yan'an trip, in order to relieve the fatigue along the way, I specially booked this hotel, which is known as the best in Yan'an. From the hotel scale to the hardware and software facilities and the front desk service, it is really very good. Especially the front desk lady, who is responsive to every request, especially praise 👍👍 When checking in, I confirmed again that only the king-size bed room has a bathtub. Because I have been walking around for two days, my back and legs are sore and swollen. I want to take a bath to relax, so I asked if I could change a standard room to a king-size bed, and I hope that several rooms can be together to facilitate the care of the elderly and children. The lady arranged it very quickly and personally arranged welcome fruits, which was very in place. The hotel's mineral water supply is not only doubled in the room, but also available in the elevator room. This is very considerate for tourists who are not very adaptable to the dry climate in northern Shaanxi. The breakfast is good overall, but there are not many varieties. The only bread sandwiches for breakfast are butter, jam, nuts and raisins. There is a lack of meat such as bacon and ham. There is only one sausage in the whole breakfast that is a pure meat product, which is a bit lacking. The children didn't eat the small cakes at the seafood buffet the night before, so they thought they would eat it in the morning, but they didn't expect that there was no breakfast at all😔😔 For the hotel facilities, I personally think there are still some suggestions for improvement: 1. The bath water temperature is low, the shower is OK, but the bath is not enough. It is recommended to increase it appropriately and let the guests adjust it by themselves. The temperature changes greatly in spring. Although it was more than 30 degrees in the previous few days, it dropped below 10 degrees on the night we arrived. With such a large temperature difference, the water temperature should also be adjusted in time. 2. There are not enough facilities for placing clean clothes around the bathtub. There are hooks on the wall of the bathroom in the standard king-size bed room, which is very humane, but there is only a stool next to the bathtub in the suite, and the wall tiles on the side are still very rough, which is not very convenient. And the hotel does not provide disposable bathtub covers, which is a bit regrettable. After all, now all Jiangsu and Zhejiang homestays with bathtubs will provide them. It is recommended to add them, especially for super large bathtubs. Generally, you will not buy such a large bathtub cover if you bring your own😂😂 3. The trash can is not covered with disposable trash bags, which puts higher requirements on the work of the housekeeping staff. Once the holiday, it will be a bit too busy and there will be omissions. Generally speaking, the hotel is very good. I didn't have time to walk around and swim this time, but I will choose it again next time.

The modern cave dwelling experience is very special. The big kang-like bed is very comfortable and can accommodate a family of four. The hotel environment is very good, the service is considerate, Dana helped to upgrade the room type, I will continue to choose here next time, it is very convenient to travel around, the room is clean and tidy, there is no trace of odor, the facilities in the house are well-equipped, suitable for living, and the service is attentive and thoughtful.

The hotel has a good location, convenient parking, large indoor space, few things seem a bit empty, the bed is very comfortable, the breakfast is rich, it is the best meal in a few days. It takes more than one kilometer to walk to the square to see the night view of Pagoda Mountain and Qingliang Mountain. The snack street is not far away, but there are too many people.

The location is right on the pedestrian street, very convenient. The hotel is very new. There is no bedside table where you can charge, and there is no socket where there is a bedside table. This design is really anti-human. The bedside phone will ring suddenly. I just unplugged it. The hotel decoration smells very strong. The curtains are not light-blocking, and they will light up very early in the morning. The air conditioner will report a fault in the morning and cannot be started. The front desk is answering the questions of the previous guests, while another front desk lady is swiping her phone. You hand her your ID card, she looks surprised and hides aside without saying a word. Another man who should be the leader runs over to chat with her. A novice child is left to check in.

Facilities: Good hardware, stable hot water, and satisfactory air conditioning Hygiene: OK, clean and tidy. Environment: The lobby, guest rooms, and corridors are all decorated very comfortably and warmly Service: The staff's service is perfect, especially the thoughtfulness of the front desk, who delivers hot water before leaving and handles check-in efficiently, which adds a lot to the hotel. Disadvantages: 1. Don't choose the executive room facing the street. It's like standing on the edge of the road all night, listening to the sound of the endless stream of vehicles, and occasionally a horn, which is more exciting. The price is so expensive, and the cost performance is far from good. 2. The hotel breakfast is warmly presented, but I have to say that there is no highlight. The freshly cooked noodles are very unpalatable. It's unpalatable and a whole bowl is served. Don't you think it's a waste? There is also porridge, which is cold, and the dishes are average (matching the room or breakfast price, it's not worth it at all).
