The room along the river is so nice that I enjoyed fireworks to celebrate ***** new year. Anna(安娜) at the front desk is very friendly and kind to help my first trip there.

This hotel is about a 15 minute drive from the train station, and around the same from the center of town, and right across the lake from the red street, so it's very conveniently located.
The hotel itself was really excellent. Very clean, quiet, and the staff were super friendly. Cherry at the front desk was extremely helpful!
The room is spacious, the bed was comfortable and the facilities are great. Not to mention the breakfast was also wonderful.
I would recommend this hotel to other visitors, and will definitely come back.

Enjoyed a very pleasant 4 day trip to visit the historical and revolutionary sites of Yan’an and the trip was made much better thanks to a very comfortable and convenient stay at the Wanda Realm. For anybody who plans to visit the city I highly recommend this hotel.
The hotel is located just to the south of the old city of Yan’an in the newly built Wanda City area. It is a 15-20 minute taxi ride to the old center (depending on traffic) and it’s relatively easy to call a taxi with a ride hailing app like Didi. It’s also within walking distance of the Red Street 红街 tourism area that has a theatre, cinema, activities, coffee shops and restaurants.
The hotel is new and all of the main public areas are clean and well maintained - such as the lobby, hotel rooms, restaurant and gym/pool. The gym contains my favorite Life Fitness gym equipment (a quality brand) and the multi-lane, 25m meter pool is a dream for anyone who likes to swim. It even offers a good view.
The hotel breakfast is very good value for money and offers a high quality selection of Western-style food (bread, eggs, bacon, sausages and cereals) as well as very tasty local Chinese food - especially local Yan’an/Shanxi noodles and dumplings. For any foreigners like me, you’ll get a good sense of local taste with good ingredients.
The room was very clean and spacious with nice balcony and great view of the lake and Red Street. Service staff was excellent and many staff speak good English. We even received a nice hand written message and welcome fruits.
Especially if you travel with children, this is where you should stay in Yan’an. Thank you for making my holiday more enjoyable.

We were upgraded to a kang room in a cave courtyard. The kang was three meters long and very comfortable to sleep in. The quilts were all down. The front desk girls Xiao Zhong, Xiao Li and the young man with glasses Xiao Zhang provided good service. The room attendant Xiao Ma was also very considerate. The breakfast was delicious, the service was good, the mutton offal noodles were very good, the restaurant environment was very Yan'an-style, and the "Return to Yan'an" on the opposite Red Street was very touching. The ticket price was a little expensive but worth it. There is no shuttle bus to walk around the lake now, and I am exhausted! The ferry has also stopped, and there is not much water in the lake.
