We were upgraded to a kang room in a cave courtyard. The kang was three meters long and very comfortable to sleep in. The quilts were all down. The front desk girls Xiao Zhong, Xiao Li and the young man with glasses Xiao Zhang provided good service. The room attendant Xiao Ma was also very considerate. The breakfast was delicious, the service was good, the mutton offal noodles were very good, the restaurant environment was very Yan'an-style, and the ”Return to Yan'an” on the opposite Red Street was very touching. Very satisfactory 3 nights stay at Jinze hotel during our recent visit to Yan’an. Hotel room is clean and spacious, bed is comfortable. Very strategic location at the city centre, walkable to QingLiang Hill and the famous food street. Getting a taxi or DIDI is easy. We enjoyed the breakfast served in the hotel which comes with good variety and mostly local dishes. What impressed me most is the friendly staffs who are always enthusiastic to offer help and travel advice. The hotel in-house restaurants offer delicious food that comes with very reasonable price. Not surprisingly that we had several enjoyable meals at the hotel restaurant. The hotel staff also offered us free souvenirs when we checked out. Appreciate the kind gesture very much 😁. No doubt I would recommend this hotel to anyone who will visit Yan’an.

I had a wonderful stay, Lian Jie was very generous and hospitable. She showed me how caves were created and made me a three course dinner! There was great hot water shower and heating panel which kept me feeling toasty even as the temperature plummeted in the night. Definitely recommend this place when you go to the Yucha canyon - it’s 3km away and a fantastic way to help the local economy while enjoying local hospitality.
