The Surf Yamba

The Surf was a true highlight of our recent holiday up north. It was the best boutique hotel we have stayed in, great design, big room and balcony. Friendly staff, great pool and lounge area, they seem to have thought of everything! Great position opposite the beach and a short walk up the hill to the pub. Yes it is relatively expensive but it is worth it!

This is a first class accommodation, everything has been thought of in very classy rooms. Some rooms have fabulous ocean views. It is in a great location opposite the beautiful main beach. It is not cheap but very worth it, we had a front room and was one of the best small apartments we have ever stayed in! Yamba town is of course also fabulous.

Really a great place to stay - gorgeous rooms overlooking the sea - so clean!! Rooftop pool and sun lounges - quiet - car parking - nothing to fault. Friendly, cross the road to the ramp to the beach with a great kiosk for breakfast when it’s open

Wow! The Surf Yamba was the perfect place for us to spend our anniversary weekend. This beautifully decorated boutique hotel impresses from the minute you enter. Every little detail has been thought of and makes you feel very spoilt. We stayed in the Main Beach room that overlooks the beach and has a wrap around deck to enjoy the view. The room was stylishly decorated and impressive. The rooftop pool was the perfect space to relax and unwind with our morning coffee and pizza and cocktails in the afternoon. The Breakwater room is also an amazing space to sit and unwind, enjoying complimentary tea and coffee, biscuits and fruit. The friendly host Garry made us feel extremely welcome and offered local knowledge and restaurant recommendations. We cannot wait to come back!

Yamba is one of the most wonderful places I have ever been on holidays. It has a great climate, laid back atmosphere, lots of beaches to choose from , nice little town with some cool restaurants and cafes, a pub with a spectacular view , and a distinct absence of posers. And the best place to stay in Yamba is the Yamba Surf. The location is priceless and if you can’t get a room with a view ( do if you can) there are two different rooftop areas with stunning views. we could not find one negative thing to say about this place and will definately be back .

We stay in a lot of very nice hotels and had reasonably low expectations for a one night stop over in Yamba but WOW this place is amazing! They have done an incredible job with the fitout, the attention to detail was amazing. Very friendly staff, fab room great location and the rooftop common areas are really lovely. Will definitely be back. Big thumbs up!
