Unique experience & run by senior couple. Room is basic but the breakfast served is unexpected. Thanks to the owner & boss lady for the hospitality.

There were bed bugs, lots of them, more than one. The worst accommodation I've ever stayed in Japan. There is no heating in the public areas and it is very cold in winter. The hot water in the public bathhouse was very small and the temperature was low, and there was cold wind blowing in. It was terrible and I almost caught a cold. There were flying insects in the room. There is dust accumulation in many places. The tatami in the room was dented in places and the hardware was a complete mess. By the way, there is no hot water in the tap, only cold water. Sour and refreshing.

Traditional ryokan where time has literally stood still. This is also reflected in the location, some parts could use a lick of paint or a makeover. Nevertheless, I had a good experience. The owners were very friendly and involved. The food was also delicious and freshly prepared in a private dining room. However, the Onsen was much too hot for a 'Western' guest to enter in May.

It is located a short walk from Yudanaka Station. The inside of the building had a retro feel and a nice atmosphere. The room was a Japanese-style room, so if you were alone, it was spacious and relaxing.
