This is my first Oedo Onsen Monogatari (Itoen Hotel has 44 times in 27 locations). It was triggered by watching fireworks in Fuefuki City and prefectural discount. There were some good points. If you want to watch the fireworks, we recommend a room facing south in the East Building. The room key was given for the number of people (2 people), not for the number of rooms (1). The sound of the air conditioner was also quiet. Also, although the number of outlets is small, I was impressed that there was an extension cord. No sweets in the room. The biggest drawback here is that ”WiFi can only be used in the 1st floor lobby” (it was also connected in the 2nd floor cafeteria directly above). About 10 years ago, when I stayed at Toyoko Inn in front of Himeji Station, I also made a membership card with a face photograph for 1500 yen. However, I also decided to keep my luggage at the time of the stay, and since then, I decided not to use Toyoko inn. However, I had to stop at Kofu because of my work, and I stayed for 10 years this time. First of all, the check-in was set up from 16 o'clock, and despite the corona ridge, about 10 people were waiting in the lobby until 16 o'clock. On the unit bus, I was surprised at the small toilet seat in the toilet, tired of the shower curtain smelling, and at night I was not sleeping with the loud sound of the wall clock in the room and removed the battery. I instruct people in the company to take other hotels. I will not use it for a while again. APA, Richmond, Alpharwan, etc. are more comfortable. By the way, the south exit of Toyoko-in Kofu Station is used for isolation of corona infected people.

It's old, but it's a so-called ordinary business hotel. I was able to stay cheaply using Go To and received a coupon. I'm a smoker, so I was happy that there are rooms where each plan can smoke. I made a reservation for a single room, but it seems that I was able to make it a large bed room (although there was no explanation). I booked a ladies plan but I couldn't get the amenities listed on the site. Also, I was told that I needed to present a Go To coupon, so I printed it and brought it with me, but I was not asked to present it, and the discount was applied and the coupon was given. Breakfast was canceled due to 4 types of small bread and the influence of corona. There was a drink bar for vegetable juice, orange juice and soup, and it was enough because it was free, but I wanted to warm the bread.

The hotel is pretty nice with a very nice hot spring and a nice comfy bed. Cons are that the interior is slightly worn and the toilet has some slight smell, probably due to the age of the hotel. The common hot spring interior area also has a fairly strong smell which I didn’t experience in other Dormy inns.

It was very clean and the facilities were well-maintained. I would definitely like to use it again. It was also conveniently located near the station.

Frankly speaking I am short of words to tell about this property and hospitality of the owners. This property is Outstanding , fabulous, marvellous, beautiful, comfortable, ideal, perfect and bla bla bla for the family and friends to stay. We were two families with small kids and was thinking to book one villa where 8 people can adjust just to save money but the owner suggested us to book two villas next to each other in same price we were quoted for one villa. Because in japan most of the tariff are according to people staying in house. So they gave us two villas with lot of space and kids had great fun playing around. We arrived Kawaguchiko station by bus and Hiroyuki san the host of villa arranged our pick free of cost from station. He came along with his father in two cars and one car went to villa whereas the other took us to super market to buy groceries. We appreciate his father who waited for us in super market as we took about 30 mins. He was very kind, generous and helpful. The host were available 24 hours and asked us to ping them if we need any help. Special thanks to Hiroyuki san who took us to city centre for the dinner and then picked up also without charging anything else we might have paid about 8000 yen on taxi. Location of the villa was so beautiful in a country side area and you can just feel that you are in heaven when you are walking along lake Kawaguchiko and Mt. Fuji is standing next to lake. Oh I cannot explain the view but you can judge from the pictures I have attached. In the last I would like to thank Hiroyuki san’s mother a very nice and gentle lady. She gave souvenir’s to our kids and played around with our kids. She is a gem of a person. The host and villas are excellent. We will surely come back and will stay atleast for 3-4 nights because location is mind blowing if you are in love with nature. Thanks once again to Hiroyuki san and his family for taking care of us and provided us everything we asked them.

Perfect place to stay for photographer of videographer alike who wants convenience of viewing Mt Fuji. You just need to cross the street and Mount Fuji is visible clearly. On top of that, the shuttle bus (red line) will also alight you right in front of the property, convenient! However, if you are particular about upkeep, amenities - then this is not what the property is offering. During our stay, I had to deal with insects, giant moth and spiders. The bed arrangement doesn't smell and look like the most hygienic too. In conclusion, the place is old - but the only motivation to stay here is the view of Mount Fuji!

Our room has Mount Fuji view, which is really nice :) - the two pictures below were taken in the room. We also enjoyed our dinner and breakfast at the hotel! The shabu-shabu dinner allowed us to order unlimited beef, pork and veggies within 90 mins, and the hotel offers buffet breakfast with great variety of food and drink choices. The hotel is close to both the bus stop 4 and the bus stop 6 of red/purple/green lines, so depending on where one plan to go, one can get on/off at either bus stop, with a few minute walk from the hotel. (For example, it took us about 15 mins to walk from hotel to the cable car station.) The staff there are really friendly, with excellent services - a big thank to them! There are two onsen areas at the hotel - one in the main building and another in the annex building. We went to the main building one, but it was a bit small and quite crowded, so the hygiene there was suboptimal. This is the only minor thing that we wish that the hotel could do better. All in all, our stay was wonderful :)
