You won't find a better hotel near Lake Yamanaka. We got an authentic room in traditional Japanese style with a view of a small forest and a hotel pond with fish. The room is warm, with air conditioning, there is everything you need for a comfortable stay. Delicious breakfast, you can order dinner if you wish. The main attraction is the owner of the hotel (don't worry if you don't know languages, he has a pocket voice translator), he told us everything and showed us. We arrived late in the evening, and did not have time for the hotel dinner, so he himself offered to take (and took) us to a cafe 2 km from the hotel. Also, the rest of the hotel staff was polite. Another plus is the location of the hotel: it is in the center, next to a bus stop, bike rental, and a beach with boats, swans, and an excellent location for a selfie with Fuji in the background.
