Wan's Resort Yamanakako

If I really couldn't book a hotel, I would never choose this hotel. It is definitely not suitable for tourists because it is a hotel with dogs. The name is a unique resort for dogs! Service is nonexistent! When you arrive, you will be given a drink. A night without breakfast or dinner will cost you 2,000 yuan!

I'm from England. It was very good. It would have been better if the triple room had 3 regular beds.

We stayed in a triple room with a view of Mt. Fuji. As soon as we arrived by car, the hotel staff welcomed us and helped us with our luggage. We were served a drink at check-in and shown to our room. The room was spacious, and as the name suggests, Mt. Fuji looked very close and the view was excellent. However, I personally don't like unit baths, so the toilet, washroom, and shower room were disappointing in a small space. There was a large public bath, so we didn't use the shower room, but it felt like it was forced in. We had a special French course meal, which looked and tasted good, and was served at a good time, so we were satisfied. For breakfast, we chose from four types of dishes and the amount was just right. Since it is a hotel where you can stay with your dog, the service was good and friendly to dogs. There were almost no shortages of walking supplies, toilet sheets, adhesive tape, floor sheets, etc., so it was comfortable. Many hotels charge a pet fee but offer no services, but I don't think that is a problem at One's Resort. There are three dog runs. It was nice that they can be used according to the situation, both indoors and outdoors.

I made the reservation 3 days before my stay. Perhaps because it was the peak season, this was the only place available for dog-friendly lodgings, so I made a reservation without knowing if it was good or not, but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were very sincere. You can tell they are making an effort to provide hospitality. The food was also carefully prepared and detailed. They didn't cut corners. The vegetable garnishes were also beautiful and well-prepared. The overall meal was like a Shokado bento lunch, made to appeal to everyone, and although the portions were moderate, I was satisfied. The bath was spacious and clean with all the amenities. The room was a special room with a view of Mt. Fuji, which was a little spacious, so it was sufficient. All the other guests' dogs were well-behaved and we had a pleasant time. There are many dog-friendly lodgings around here, so I would like to try others, but I thought I was lucky when I found out that this place won the top award at the Stay with Dog Awards.
