I recently stayed at Delta Marriot Bodrum, and I must say it was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I've ever had. Despite its promising online reviews and appealing photos, our stay was marred by a series of issues that the hotel management failed to address. Room Issues: Upon arrival, we found our room to be in a less-than-clean state. There were stains on the carpet, and the bathroom had not been thoroughly cleaned. To make matters worse, the room had a musty smell that persisted throughout our stay. We immediately informed the front desk, hoping for a quick resolution, but were told that housekeeping was unavailable and no other rooms were available. Amenities: The advertised amenities were either non-functional or in poor condition. The pool was closed for maintenance, which was not mentioned during booking. The fitness center equipment was outdated and some machines were broken. The Wi-Fi was incredibly slow and frequently disconnected, making it impossible to work or stream any content. Noise and Disruptions: The walls of the hotel were paper-thin, and we could hear every noise from the adjacent rooms and the hallway. The hotel seemed to host a large, rowdy group during our stay, and the noise levels at night were unbearable. Despite multiple complaints to the front desk, no action was taken to address the disturbances. Staff and Service: The staff at Delta Marriot Bodrum were unresponsive and unhelpful. When we approached the front desk with our concerns, we were met with indifference and a lack of empathy. Our requests for additional toiletries and fresh towels went unfulfilled, and it seemed like the staff simply did not care about the guests' experience. Dining: The on-site restaurant was another letdown. The breakfast buffet was subpar, with cold food and limited options. We decided to order room service one evening, only to have our meal arrive an hour late and cold. When we called to complain, we were rudely informed that there were no refunds or replacements. Additionally they closed all meals earlier than the times set, the hotel was nearly empty but still it doesn't mean the timings should be reduced for those guests who have paid to stay and eat there. Conclusion: Overall, our stay at Delta Marriot Bodrum was extremely disappointing. From unclean rooms and non-functional amenities to unresponsive staff and noisy surroundings, every aspect of our stay was far below acceptable standards. We expected a much higher level of service and comfort for the price we paid. Unfortunately, the hotel's management seemed disinterested in addressing our concerns, which added to our frustration , they also became rather intimidating and rude on our final day when we brought up our complaints.
