I have a couple of issues, but first of all I must say that the rooms at the Yalikavak Marina Boutique Hotel are spacious, comfortable, very well appointed, spotlessly clean and, in spite of the nearby construction sites (more of which later), are relatively quiet - so we slept well and had a comfortable stay. And my rating reflects this. My first issue relates to the fact that the Boutique Hotel is closely associated with - but physically separate from - the Yalikavak Marina. So, to claim that there is an on-site restaurant, an on-site bar, an on-site beauty centre and an on-site gym&spa - when in fact all of these facilities are at least 100m away within the Marina itself - is, in my opinion, stretching the definition of ‘on-site’ a bit too far. Of the 54 ‘management provided’ photographs on TA, I estimate that only 11 were actually taken within the hotel. My second issue is not with the Boutique Hotel itself, but with the fact that it is currently bordered on two sides by enormous construction sites. The one to the side of the hotel is so close it almost felt like we could touch the excavation machines! But my main problem is the fact that “The private beach area, with free parasols and sun loungers” mentioned in the TA hotel description/listing and featured in several reviews of the hotel as recently as October 2020, is in fact now in the middle of an even bigger building site, directly across the road from the hotel - see photos. Now, I fully accept that this construction work maybe beyond the control of the hotel, but it would have been nice to have been forewarned of this significant ‘inconvenience’. I would advise anyone considering booking the Yalikavak Boutique Marina Hotel in the near future to first establish the status of the ongoing construction work.

Bad experience right from the start. I made a 1 night reservation with ***********, £170 for the night as it was a special treat for my wife, this was non refundable! The next day the Hotel emailed me to say that the spar facilities were shut and construction work was ongoing which mean we would not have access to the beach. I was annoyed because I couldnt cancel and have my money refunded. I made my complaint known to the staff when I arrived there and was taken accross the road to the Marina complex and shown their facilities that I could use but at a cost of £55 each, which was insulting to say the least. Our garden view was of next doors garden which also had construction work going on. Managed have emailed me and offered discount the next time we visit which again is dreadful service as we should be compensated during our visit, I'm not traveling over 2000 miles for a bit of discount. Poor service and miss communication from management and staff. So £170 to sleep in a bed all night was all I got. Zero stars.

Excellent and helpful staff, clean and comfortable room , really nice location just behind the beautiful marina , marina security is always around making their tours so i felt secure during walks between marina car park and hotel

Hotel premises are very nice, with a great spa and hammam facility over looking the Yalikavak Marina. The Restaurants and Breakfast Lounge only a 2 minute walk down the Marina, Good quality food and good staff/waiters. The Hotel Staff were 10/10, Very hospitable and accommodated all our needs. Akif - one of the four amazing receptionist hooked us up a hire vehicle and got us a brilliant deal. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, I am still in contact with them even after returning back home. No faults. 🇹🇷👌🏽
