We have just returned from our stay, we visited as a family of five in a grand family room in the main building. I had read a lot of bad reviews so was quite worried about arriving. However first impressions were that the lobby was nice and clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming, we were shown our room and our luggage bought in for us. The room was lovely and big with a great sea view from the balcony. It was very clean. It was quite dated, as was the bathroom / shower, but we were hardly in there so this wasn’t an issue. We were very happy with the food, we ate in the main restaurant each night and found something new to try each night- not sure how people can find it repetitive. There is a different bbq option each night too which was nice. The only negative with the evening meals was that it was so busy and only between 1900-2100 so the whole hotel was trying to get in at the same time. Lunch we usually went to the beach bar where they had hamburgers, meat, salad and chips etc. there was also Turkish flatbreads and pide being made there every day and these were delicious. The views here were great, if you went to a restaurant with that location you’d be paying loads. Food at the aqua park was also fine, but not as much choice. Breakfast was also great and there was a lot to choose from, pancakes and Nutella were a hit with the kids. The entertainment was good, although it doesn’t start until 2145hrs, so a bit late for the kids we thought. The one big negative for us was that the spirits were not drinkable. I had seen reviews saying they tasted like chemicals and thought they were exaggerating- they weren’t! The spirits and cocktails were disgusting. However the beer, soft drinks and rose wine were all nice. The bus stop outside the hotel goes to Bodrum and is about 50p each way. Bodrum was nice to go for a look around and only about 15 minutes away. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. It is a large complex and not suitable if you have mobility problems.
