I didn't chose the hotel but I loved it. Location was great, very convenient for the station, room was fine, front desk staff were kind and thoughtful. Enjoyed a better than average breakfast, included in the room rate. The whole experience was much more ”boutique” than ”chain” hotel. But the real glory of the place is the privileged access to the former daimyo's garden next door. Each morning at breakfast, the waitstaff encouraged me to step outside into the garden. On the third morning, I finally did it. What a lovely place! Japanese aesthetics at their best. And I had it all to myself. Would have been worth staying here just for the garden, but like I said, the hotel was good, too.

The biggest feature of this hotel is that it is very close to the train, less than a minute's walk from the north exit of Shizuoka Station. The hotel's lobby layout and breakfast are also very Japanese. The room we stayed in was a corner double room, and we could see Mount Fuji on a clear day. The only thing I'm a little unhappy about is that I booked two months in advance. Not only was there no discount, but during the two days I checked in, the room price on that day was cheaper than what I booked.

It is near Shizuoka Station. This is a compact Japanese business hotel. The room size is small. A breakfast buffet is provided, and in addition to the bathtub in the room, there is a separate large bath on the first floor. Free drink dispensers and ice cream are provided by the hour. In the evening, you can get any drink you want for free at the restaurant during happy hour until 8 p.m. I got a glass of nama biru (draft beer). For reference, the rental car parking fee is 1,200 yen per day for the parking tower, but if you want to leave, you can leave the parking tower within 5 minutes. It was a small hotel, but the location and service were satisfactory.

The blinds were broken, and when I first entered the room, they were slightly visible from the outside. I fixed it by hand and it was about the same as in the photo, but I think it would be better if they repaired it. This is 408. I parked in a nearby affiliated parking lot, and the parking staff told me that I would pay at the hotel, so I thought I would pay at check-out, but it seems that there was some procedure at check-in? It didn't really make it cheaper for the guests, and it was just a hassle, so I think they should improve their collaboration with affiliated companies and the staff's operations a little more. I made a reservation without meals, but the price of breakfast was +500 yen on the app, so I thought I would ask for it, but the paper I received at check-in said 1000 yen or 800 yen. I wondered how much it was in the end? ? So I didn't use it. However, since it was new, the overall impression was stylish and clean. It was inconvenient to eat while looking at the monitor, but it was stylish, so it was OK. In addition to the electric kettle in the room, the drink bar was also good. There was a microwave, although it was shared. The location is convenient and the price is good, I would use it again.

Great hotel, stayed for the second time. Breakfast is delicious, there are many choices, basically all Japanese people stay, breakfast for partial meals. Nice family hotel and centrally located opposite the train station with many restaurants choices. Checkin was a breeze and room was clean and spacious. Breakfast that came with the hotel stay was excellent with many choices and sufficient refills. Carpark was chargeable at 1200y per night at the next building and walking to carpark can be cumbersome for some during bad weather. Highly recommended place for those looking for accommodation in this part of the city or exploring the city.

Although it is a little more expensive than a typical business hotel, you will be more than satisfied, and you will feel that it is better value for money than staying at another business hotel for just a few thousand yen. The sauna is an automatic Roryu iki stove. The breakfast is far beyond what you would expect from a business hotel. All of the food was of high quality, and I was surprised that they even had crema coffee. A high-grade hotel with a view of Mt. Fuji even for singles (cannot be specified).
