Hongbao Hotel (Xuchang Caowei Ancient City Pang Donglai Times Square) Reviews

When we arrived, reception said our bedroom was upgraded. Very comfortable and bedroom size was spacious. The next day in the evening, we had another surprised. They extend 2 free breakfast and make our stay a memorable one. We were also allowed to extend 1-2hrs more. They were indeed kind and had tried their best to serve their guest well. The hotel is a bit old. It has good melodies. Only the carpet has old smell. Otherwise the price is acceptable and the room is quite big clean, but it’s not clean enough.

I am an American living and working China. I live the amenities and the caring staff at the Hongbao Hotel in Xuchang. A beautiful city should have at least one equally beautiful hotel. Xuchang has several that are nice, but I have really found the Hongbao to be impeccable!

I love this place I book stay for a night more.

great hotel, clean, comfortable

On arrival the staff at this hotel immediately refused to check me in because I’m a foreigner. After about an hour of complaining they finally relented and allowed me to check in. Trip must delete this hotel listing to prevent this unpleasant experience for other travellers.

Very good hotel

I booked this hotel for Fat Dong. The parking lot is very convenient, the service attitude is good, and the breakfast is also good. It’s ok.

From the welcome at the front desk to the parking lot, everything is in place, very friendly, and the hardware configuration is also very comprehensive. Breakfast was not included when booking, but the front desk took the initiative to give it to me and said that breakfast was 29 yuan per person. I didn't expect much at first, but unexpectedly the breakfast was very rich! I really stayed at a treasure hotel. I couldn’t help but ask the lady at the front desk if the hotel had anything to do with Fat Donglai. Of course I got a negative answer🤣The reason why I asked this was really because of their service It can be called the "Fat Dong Lai" in the hotel industry, haha.

It is just opposite the Xuchang Railway Station. The space is well utilized. This tatami room does not waste any space. It is fully equipped with laundry detergent and facial cleanser. It is close to Pang Donglai. I bought tea sets and tea leaves. The service is very good. The parking lot is large and you can park and charge. Linxia (DC charging pile)

The hotel is really great, with a large parking lot which is very convenient. The biggest surprise was that the hotel staff helped me wash my car for free. When I left the next morning, I found a small friendship card, which was really heartwarming and I was moved by the people of Xuchang.

The superior twin room was upgraded to an executive twin room. The room was very clean. The front desk staff was friendly. The hotel room decoration was indeed a bit old. Parking was very convenient. The breakfast was rich in variety, especially the five-grain soy milk was delicious.

The room was very nice. I came to Xuchang because of the reputation of Fat Donglai and saw different scenery. It was really nice.
