The hotel is a bit old. It has good melodies. Only the carpet has old smell. Otherwise the price is acceptable and the room is quite big clean, but it’s not clean enough.

I am an American living and working China. I live the amenities and the caring staff at the Hongbao Hotel in Xuchang. A beautiful city should have at least one equally beautiful hotel. Xuchang has several that are nice, but I have really found the Hongbao to be impeccable!

On arrival the staff at this hotel immediately refused to check me in because I’m a foreigner. After about an hour of complaining they finally relented and allowed me to check in. Trip must delete this hotel listing to prevent this unpleasant experience for other travellers.
