Very friendly staff, picturesque surroundings (except roads from Trapani to the property which were rather full of garbage...). I loved the park around the property with plenty of interesting plants and trees, I found it very romantic. My child liked animals a lot, went to check them a couple of times per day. The pool was also good - clean and big. And, yes, we ordered the tastiest pizza here (highly recommended)! Also, in one small shop just 2 min drive from the property we bought the best black pecorino cheese in the whole trip (such could not be found in big supermarkets later on).

We really loved our stay at Duca di Castelmonte. The staff are great and were really helpful in organising a birthday cake for my husband on his 40th at dinner, as well as helping us book taxis and speak to car hire companies when we had a problem with our car hire! We stayed in the safari tents in the beautiful garden with olive trees and small playground - it was a gorgeous setting and nice to be staying near a couple of other families so the kids could make friends. The food was lovely, especially the breakfasts which had a huge selection including fresh cakes and fruit from the farm. The pool was a little chilly for us in October but we still swam and had a fun time! The weather in Oct was perfect - not too hot but not cold at all. Our kids loved picking pomegranates from the trees, meeting the donkeys and running around the courtard at breakfast. The building itself is lovely and very historic. The restaurant can get very busy with locals and guests so do book ahead if you want to eat! The food is delicious!

We pitched up here after refusing to stay in the nearby agriturismo we’d booked. Full of character. Good sized pool. Lovely food and charming and smiley service all round. Best pizzas. Kittens everywhere you looked!

Food was lovely but service was slow and they seemed a bit over whelmed as forgot dishes . They also served pizza as starter when we asked for it to come with mains so 2 family members were finished dinner before the other 4 were even served . The food however was fantastic so can’t fault that at all! Shame. Also super popular so defo book !

We stayed at Duca di Castelmonte for one week with our 3 year old daughter and my parents and found the staff to be kind, respectful, and ready to help with any problem, from the cleaning staff to the restaurant, to the front desk. Our room and all the amenities were always kept very clean. October is the start of the slow season, so many activities weren't available, but we knew this before going. However, the staff went out of their way to give our daughter pony rides and organize boat trips. The restaurant was delicious with fantastic pizza. Breakfast was a succulent buffet of homemade desserts and savoury american style breakfast. The staff even made my parents feel at home by adhering to their strange coffee requests. We can't recommend this agriturismo enough and we hope that one day we'll go back again for another vacation.

We hebben hier als gezin met vier personen een week verbleven in een tent (glamping). Ik moet eerlijk zeggen dat het aanrijden naar de locatie zorgen baarde qua omgeving, maar wat een oase is Duca di Castelmonte wanneer je binnenrijdt. Veel groen, ruim opgezet, authentiek en karakteristiek. Prima zwembad, leuk binnenplaats voor o.a. het ontbijt (prima, uitgebreid) en de Siciliaanse avond was zeer geslaagd! Maar wat het echte verschil maakt zijn de hardwerkende, gastvrije mensen. Ze staan direct voor je klaar. We hebben ons zeer welkom gevoeld. Dank aan alle medewerkers van Duca di Castelmonte voor deze mooie week!

Bella struttura immersa nel verde a pochi km da Trapani, con gestione famigliare. Bellissima atmosfera, buon cibo al ristorante e bella piscina per rilassarsi. Baglio molto bello e uliveti tutti intorno (entrambi coreografia meravigliosa per un matrimonio fantastico). Stanze e parti comuni necessiterebbero un ammodernamento e una rinfrescata, ma il luogo è tale da fartelo dimenticare. Perfetto come sosta per visitare Trapani, Marsala, Erice, San Vito Lo Capo, le Egadi, Mazara del Vallo. Totò padrone di casa gentilissimo.

Località meravigliosa immersa nella natura..dove tutto profuma di storia e tradizione.Ideale per tutti, anche per i bambini perché ha immensi spazi con piscine, giochi e animali....per non parlare dei prodotti biologici coltivati dal contadino, il quale orgogliosamente mostra ai clienti i frutti del raccolto che vengono poi utilizzati per le pietanze dell'agriturismo preparate divinamente dai cuochi.Una struttura a conduzione familiare. I padroni di casa sono persone fantastiche che accolgono i clienti sempre con disponibilità e soprattutto con il sorriso ..il personale altrettanto..insomma ci si sente a casa!...la musica sembra riportarti indietro nel tempo trasportandoti in un'altra dimensione.Tutto impeccabile! Vivamente consigliato!
